I have Aprox 1000+ miles on these pads now. I am also a brake enthusiast, so u pay attention to stuff like pad friction coefficient ratings (these are GG). Should you get these pads? Absolutely. These are ceramic pads, and they’re great for daily driving. Because they’re ceramic based pads, they are extremely low dust and extremely quiet. IF you are having squeeking noises, that’s a user installation problem. Your caliper and ALL contact points should be properly cleaned prior to install. All contact points should also be properly lubricated with a quality brake grease. I used Pentax ceramic high temp brake grease (purple color). You SHOULD also be using new pad hardware (pad retaining pins and pad securing pins). These pads don’t come with new hardware. You also SHOULD be pairing these pads with new rotors or at least freshly resurfaced rotors. You SHOULD also be bleeding your brake post-install. These pads also need to be properly bedded in after you install them. If you correctly do all this, your brakes will be quiet/silent with a progressive feel to the pedal. After 1000mi+ mine are absolute quiet with a huge improvement in braking performance. The fit is just like oem. They fit perfectly in my 2017 4Runner front calipers. Paired with new rotors, they stop phenomenally. A noticeable improvement compared to my Toyota oem pads (FG). If you pair these front brembo pads with a a rear pad that’s also GG rated, you’ll have the best and most powerful brake setup possible before going big brake kit. The real reason why these pads are one of the best is because their friction coefficient is GG. This is the highest friction coefficient you can have before getting into race/track pads (which are noisy and dusty). Factory oem pads (lower end ver) are EF and the higher end oem ceramic pads are FG. This means both factory pads are lower friction than these brembos. Other popular brands like the Akebono proACT or Bosch quietcast are also only FG pads (Higher Friction = better stopping power/bite). The higher the letter, the higher the friction coefficient. It ranges from E, F, G and H (lowest to highest). The first letter is the cold biting friction coefficient and the second letter is the high biting coefficient.

I run these is both my Lexus Gx470 and Gx460. Perfect fit, way less dust than the Lexus pads. Wheels stay much cleaner. Super quiet, no noise at all. These pads do not fade in stop and go highway traffic with hard braking. My new go to pads.

These Brembo brake pads fit perfectly which was a sigh of relief for ordering online. In addition I replaced the old rotors with Brembo’s from Rock Automotive. Finally my vehicle stops without the pause before the brakes start to work and I don’t have to stand on the petal at a stop sign to prevent that phantom rolling.

Matched these pads with new Brembo rotors from NAPA and squeaked from the start. Was hoping squeak would go away. Actually was told by a shop, they had a customer that had brembo pads and they were defective. Went ahead and decided to finally replace the pads and found they they have signs of cracking. The rotors also had signs of warpage. Turned the rotors and bought some akebonos and reinstalled and are flawless thus far, no squeak. Installed in May 2025 and replaced Dec 2025

Much better pedal feel than the OE Toyota pads and better initial bite. Seem to have slightly better overall stopping power. But they do make noticeably more brake dust than the OE pads too. Small drawback for such an improvement in an area I always felt my 4Runner was lacking.

It was time for me to change the brakes. I found these for a good price and very good quality. If you are thinking of buying one for your 2019 Tacoma, I recommend them.
