Not as pictured
I would be ok with it not fitting an actual tissue box as other reviewers have noted, however my box has a engraved logo on the top of the box- terrible!!

The Logo is etched on top of the box
The box is beautiful, but the logo etched into the top is not. I like clean lines and feel it takes away from the aesthetic. You do need to remove the tissues from the cardboard to fit them into the box. That is not an issue for me as I prefer to get rid of cardboard. If I can see any part of the cardboard, why would I buy a box anyway! I knew there was a possibility the logo would be there, because I read other reviews prior to purchasing. I was just hoping they reverted to actually selling the product in the picture. Through late April 2017, they have not. My guess is getting a box without the logo on top is not going to happen.

Box is Very Nice But...
It came with a carving of the the name JUVALE right across the top of the box. This is not how it was pictured when I purchased it. Hopefully they will change the photos. I complained to their customer service department and was treated very well. The box itself is quite nice just be warned about the carving.

Looks good, feels solid, but you need to transfer the stack of tissues from original box
Got this to prevent my dog from chewing up the regular tissue boxes.Looks great, feels great.Only downside is I don't like having to remove the tissues from original box to place in this. Feels less sanitary handling the stack. The size does NOT allow you to simply place the tissue BOX inside.

Attractive way to keep tissues or latex gloves handy and clean
Attractive and well-made; as advertised. Arrived early!We use this to store disposable work gloves handy on the kitchen counter, which we use for many cooking and cleaning jobs around the house. so, I don't know how it is for tissues. But having seen it in person, I think the hinged top is a great feature, and the look of the box is nice, not cheap-y.

Just be aware
Be aware that 1) It has an engraved logo [1 1/2" x 1/2"] on one of the top corners; & 2) it only holds tissues without the box. If you don't care about those points, it would get five stars as a product. It's beautifully finished.

Sturdy, handy replacement for those cardboard tissue boxes
These are great for the soft pack tissues. They fit perfectly and no cardboard boxes to squish. Sure, it would be nice if there weren't a logo engraved in the wood, but it's still better than those crazy designs on a cardboard tissue box.

Fits my tissues perfect but had to take the tissues out of the box but I was fine with that. I really like this box. Keeps my tissues dry b cuz my grandson spills things which wets the box the tissues comes in now no problem 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
