The Whipping Boy Paperback – April 15, 2003

A good review on personal accountability for children about age 10.

Grandchild’s class was reading this at school. She asked for a copy for home. Came in handy when she got the flu and was home. When she went back she was caught up with her class and hadn’t missed a section of the story. Now we have it for when her brother is in that class in a few years.

This is a great read for 4th grade. It’s a bit suspenseful at first. Book is not too thick. Perfect for young readers!

I purchased this book at the request of my sons, fourth grade teacher. There is a movie on Amazon prime that goes along with it and the moral of the story is absolutely adorable. The movie is even better.

This award winning story is a good addition to your child's summer reading goals. I recommend it especially for 7 and 8 year olds. It's a nice paperback and it requires no batteries!

This was my 9yr Olds mandatory summer reading. She really enjoyed reading it and loved telling me all it.Definitely a must read for older elementary students.

My nephew informed me that the book reminds him of Tom Sawyer. He enjoyed it very much.
