Why haven't I seen this product before? I took this pillow on a 2 week tent camping trip and it was just as comfortable as the one I use at home. It is slightly loud when moved, but it added so much comfort to my side sleeping. It is very compact when deflated. I found it easy to blow up with it taking less than a minute. I've camped and travelled for years using multiple pillows- this was so much better!

I bought this for backpacking the second half of the Appalachian Trail because my arms and legs keep going numb and the other things I’ve tried just didn’t do the job. I searched and found this and decided to give it a try and it most definitely works and has solved my problem. Comfort is 4 stars because most people who will purchase this will not be backpackers and will be unaccustomed to a vinyl pillow and the noise and the seams. However, for me, it has increased my comfort phenomenally. It is much more comfortable than anything else I have tried that will fit in my backpack and not be too heavy. For traveling, this is definitely compact, light, and easy to use and blow up and fold/roll and put back in the bag it came with. And excellent choice. But definitely try using it before traveling and make sure you can adjust to the differences between a real pillow and one that is filled with air. It is different. Lightweight is 3 stars based on backpacking (not suitcases and traveling). It is not an ultra light backpacker’s dream and most would never carry something this substantial and the only reason I am is because it keeps me hiking by helping me have a much more restful sleep and not wake up to numb extremities. For me, it’s definitely worth the weight. For a perspective of what I’m speaking of, most backpackers carry everything they need including food and water in 16 - 30 lb packs so ounces count where in a suitcase the added weight would not even be noticed. I am a 5’5” 130lb woman and I don’t blow it up to it’s fullest (almost full) and the dimensions work very well for me.

I bought 2 of these for a trip my husband and I were taking to visit his brother and sister-in-law in another state. They needed to be compact enough to fit in a carry-on for plane travel. At home we both sleep with a body pillow for extra leg and hip support at night. This is the only travel/blow up pillow that I found that was close to the shape of a store bought body pillow. Comfort wise, the pillow is not as soft and as comfortable as a regular body pillow and not as long. But it did the job. It's a more firm, flatter feel, but still provided the support I needed. After reading other reviews about how slippery the surface is, I brought some body pillow cases from hope to cover them. That made a huge difference. If the pillow is too firm you can easily deflate it. Set up was easy. I had my husband blow them up and it took him probably less then 5 minutes for each. Deflating them was even easier. They easily fit into our carry on suitcases.

Used this for a recent camping trip and also a night camping in my Jeep, and this was quite nice. I need some sort of support between my knees when I sleep on my side, and I also like something I can sort of spoon with or wrap my arm around at the same time. This is a great solution that helps me save space by not needing full-on pillows! I've seen some complain that its shape isn't quite right, but hey, it's an inflatable pillow! What do you expect? It's still pretty comfy and it's not really crinkly. It has a pleasant softness on the outside; it's not just plastic or something. To be fair, this might not be as comfy for taller people as it's around 48" long, but I'm 5'6" and it fits me pretty well. My only suggestion for a future version would be to make one end less flat and more rounded so that it can be spooned easier. But still, overall this is fantastic and has really helped my sleeping game while camping.

When fully inflated, it’s kind of like hugging a pool raft. Deflate it and it’s somewhat better, but doesn’t really work for me in the bed. It was quite comical laying in bed with it. Might not be too bad if camping.

Just got this today, right on time. I wasn't sure about it but thought I'd give it a try. I bought this because of the length and width of it. I have a body pillow and it was not convenient to travel with (to bulky). I haver sciatic problems and at home I place my body pillow to place between my legs and knees to align my hips. This Travel Inflatable Body Pillow will keep me comfortable when I sleep because it is almost the same size of the body pillow I have. I wanted something that could be compact, convenient and lightweight; this fits the bill for sure. Inflated it does measure 48" X 12" and deflated it's about 5-5 1/2 "X 7". It inflated and deflated really easy and pretty fast. It is exactly as the picture shows of the one on the bed (It doesn't taper at one end like two picture show). Quality of it seems like it will last and will get my moneys worth. No instructions came with it. This might be a repeat: when deflating it, in the valve there is a little button push in then roll it up to get the air out quickly. If you use it as a body pillow maybe inflate it 75-80% so that it is softer and more rounded (& not flat).

This travel body pillow works very well. I'm a side sleeper and need something between my knees due to some knee and hip issues. Hotel pillows just don't cut it. Pillow inflates easily, I used a small travel pump, but I think it wouldn't be too hard to inflate manually (about like blowing up a pool float) ( haven't tried the hairdryer either). You can adjust how soft or firm it is by adding or releasing air. The cover is fairly soft but I added a body pillow cover which worked well. It is very sturdy ( thicker material than a pool float) and held the air for a week with no leaks). Folds into a very compact bag ( included) (smaller than a book) which is compressible and light so easily fits in a suitcase or backpack. Happy with my purchase.

I was so hopeful for this one! Day one first time inflating and it won’t stay inflated. Something going on with the valve. Snapped in place and still hearing a hissing sound and have a flat pillow. I am so disappointed.
