QUERY: Everything You Need To Get Started, Get Noticed, and Get Signed

I needed help with writing query letters and ordered this book. I haven't gotten to use it because of illness, but I did go through it and it has the details I need.

I read a lot of books before querying, and this one was by far one of the most inclusive and informative.

I'm about to write a query and found all the information I need to get started in this little book. The parts addressing the hook part of a query could also be useful in writing book descriptions.

When I first ordered this book I was afraid that I wasted my money on it, and that it wouldn't help me to write my Query Letter. After reading the first five pages in the book she really got my attention from the jump.I previously was looking on the internet for HELP for writing a query but it didn't help me at all.Thank God for C.J Redwine, honestly now I feel so much better for writing a Query letter and getting published now. At first I didn't know anything about writing or starting a query letter. But now I'm excited to give it a try and see what happens. I'll be on my way. Remember my last name when you see my name again in the best selling section. I recommend buying this book because it will help you to get where you need to be. And that's becoming an Author.

There's no shortage of books helping authors with the business side of publishing, but C.J. Redwine's book Query leaves its own footprint in the craft of writing queries department. Pitches, queries and synopsis are akin to tooth pulling for many writers, left-sided brain matter among right-brained people. Redwine offers a bit of anesthesia, a sweetener to make the bitter pill go down. That doesn't mean you won't sweat through the process, but Redwine book gives examples, drafts and even a worksheet to assist. If Amazon offered six stars, she would get one from me.

If you are trying to publish, this is worth your time. As a rule, I do not read books about writing but after hearing a presentation by Ms. Redwine, I read this. The very next query I wrote got a full request within twenty-four hours that led to my first sale. There is no guarantee that will happen but it will take you closer. w/a Alicia Hunter Pace

Short, concise, and powerful--just like a query is supposed to be! This book breaks down just what a query should have in it (and what it shouldn't); and gives examples of queries that have been refined to perfection. A fantastic handbook if you are wanting to get published! Cannot recommend enough!

C.J Redwine is such a wonderful communicator. This resource was easy to read and implement. The power packed pages were so enjoyable to read and so worth my time! If you want to query, you need to read this!
