These teacups are quite sturdy, yet very pretty. They are not likely to just break with regular use. I bought these for use in a play my community theatre group did, and I was a little worried that they might break with that kind of use, but they were perfect. The matching teapot is also lovely, but a little thinner. (it also survived use in the play)

I bought the blue rose set back in 2014 and finally got to write a review. Originally bought them for a small party that a few kids attended and I did not want to use the Royal Albert for the little ones but needed something cute. They lasted through the party and another 9 years :). Some dishwashing on top tray and some hand washing in between with semi frequent use. They are on a heavier side but when you just want something pretty without all the fuss - they are awesome. At the price, they are a good addition

My daughter and I have Tuesday tea time every week. I wanted a set that would make this special time feel more special without spending a ton. This set was PERFECT! These teacups and saucers are even prettier than pictured and have held up nicely over several months of toddler use and dishwasher cleanings! For the price I was willing to gamble, and it paid off with this sturdy, heavy, elegant china teacup set. I would recommend this to anyone. Now we have enough for 2 friends ...or future sisters... to join us!!! ;)

These are adorable teacups. The pattern is very dainty and I like the gold detailing. That said, it is definitely not a high-end porcelain set. The designs are raised a bit and if you look very closely it almost looks like a sticker, and the brushed-on gold paint is not super meticulous. I use these multiple times a week and hand wash them and they have stayed in excellent shape. If you are looking for fun small everyday sort of cups that feel fancy but aren't so high end you would worry about using them heavily, these are great.

I ordered these cups and saucers because they are almost identical to some Royal Albert sets that I have, and I wanted add to them. These sets are just as nice as the Royal Alberts; they look the same, and cost less than half as much. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I purchased the teapot set 7 years ago which comes with 4 cups and saucers. Finally got around to purchasing 4 extra cups. I just love them. The set I've had for 6 years still looks brand new. I've only used it about half a dozen times but they do hold up well. Price has pretty much stayed the same too. Love the gold on the edges.

My package was missing a saucer making it unusable. I emailed the company and received no response. The actual cups were really nice quality.

Just the right size and design. The gold paint on the rim looks worn off slightly, but apart from that, there is nothing wrong with the set. The packaging was fantastic, and even though Amazon never marks fragile items as such on the outer box, and I did see the delivery man toss the package on my front porch, the items remained undamaged. The cups do say that they are dishwasher safe but I probably won't be trying that, lest the gold paint get damaged by the heat and soap.

I recently ordered this tea set and purchased an extra 2 sets of the tea cups for a high tea I was hosting. I absolutely love this set. The quality is great. There was no damage or chips. Everything was packaged nicely. It is a really beautiful set. Now, I just have to figure out how to store it safely.

Ordered twice , one set for me and one for my mom! Amazing quality , looks even better in person!
