I purchased this brush because of a similar brush that I also got on Amazon. I recieved this item 2 days ago and could feel the difference immediately.This brush (purple Messen) has barely any weight on it because the middle is hollow. There are seams on it and they move when the brush is gripped. This isn't good for extremely curly hair because it can get caught in a seam and be ripped out. However, I will say that the "bristles" are part of the mold of the brush, so if you have looser curls that don't require a heavier hand, you should be fine. I have 4b hair, so this won't work for ME. The name on the brush was also nearly smudged off upon arrival.I will just pay the $4 extra to get my green brush in pink. It just sucks because I can't stand pink and really wanted purple so I can give the green to my son.

Wasn't as sturdy as I'd like but still a good detangler. Doesn't stay in place

A young lady that work with me recommended this brush for my natural curls, let me just tell you guys I absolutely love it. I Detangle in the shower with it and then style my hair with it. It make my curls more loose looking, instead of tight.

My daughter is mixed with extremly curly and this brush is amazing. my hand has. Nerve damage and it would take me 30 mins to an hr to brush her hair and honestly takes less then 10 mins.

Okay guys I have natural 4c hair and anytime water comes into contact with my hair it gets matted as if I have combs my hair in a year. I used this brush without any detangling oils and it worked like a charm and remained manageable after as well. I will be buying another one just to have on hand if something happens to this one.

I decided to let my hair grow out, which I have done in years, mainly because I didn't know what I wanted to do with it. My hair was thinning in the front and a ton of my hair was coming out in the shower. I couldn't believe that I was losing my hair, but was prepared to except it! One day I had an idea to look for a brush specifically for black hair and found this detangling brush and thought, "I can't lose for the price" and bought it. I've been using it for 4 days and not only is my hair not falling out in clumps anymore, the area that was thinning is now growing back in! I have to buy two more. One for my gym bag and one to just have as an extra. I love, love, love this brush!

Meine Tochter hat sehr lockiges Haar.. ausserdem sehr viele Haare. Diese Bürste gabs zum Geburtstag als Minigeschenk dazu. Diese Bürste funktioniert nicht bei trockenen Haaren...da versagt sie wie alle andere Bürsten, die wir bis jetzt hatten. Bei feuchtem Haar geht es besser aber nicht gut. Funktioniert nur bei feuchtem Haar mit Haarspülung. Da kämmen aber fast alle Bürsten ganz gut... Also ich finde an dieser Bürste nichts Besonderes und deshalb geht sie zurück. Schade.

This brush is amazing! It’s a must try if you struggle with tangles. My 8 year old daughter loves her hair long and refuses to cut it. But the struggle is real when trying to brush her long, thin, tangled hair. Her hair goes past her bottom. And takes me about an hour just to brush all the tangles out. Even in the tub with lots of conditioner did not help. But this hair brush helps soo much. I can now brush her entire hair, and untangle her whole hair within 5 mins.
