The holy grail. I have the worst BO known to man and I have tried EVERYTHING. Prescription strength anti-perspirent, surgical scrub before deodorant, every deodorant and anti-perspirent ever made..nothing works. This scrub, combined with Cashmere Mist (if you know, you know) keeps me odor free for over 24 hours. I can go 48 in a pinch! Absolutely incredible. I use the scrub every day in the shower. A little bit goes a long way (I anticipate this jar lasting months). I scrub until the cows come how and let sit while I wash my hair/face etc. Highly recommend! You won't be disappointed.

This definitely got my armpits clean and removed the antiperspirant film better and easier than using body wash alone. I did still wash my armpits as normal afterwards but it probably wasn't necessary. The first time I used it, I applied it to dry armpits right before I got in the shower. Subsequent times I've applied it to wet armpits after I was already in the shower. Both methods produced results, but it felt like more of a "detox" using it dry; although it retains it's grit, it loses it's thickness easily when wet, which isn't altogether unexpected but it would be nice if it did stay thick when applied to wet pits. The scent is ok, coconutty as expected, nothing amazing but not offensive and not overpowering. If you're a huge coconut fan you might like it more than I do. I've been using it daily and my pits have felt extra dry since using it (not in the sense that I sweat less, but the condition of the skin when not sweating) but I'm not sure if it's the effect of the product or due to the fact I'm no longer coating My armpits in antiperspirant. It's comes with a decent amount and seems like a pretty good value for money. This is the first armpit detox I've used so idk if it's a HG product; I may try something else on the market. But if I don't find anything better or as good for a better price, I might repurchase.

Sooooo. I’ve had better. Dr.Nina on YouTube recommended this product that’s why I purchased it. Most of the products she recommended I loved until now. I was excited to take a shower with this product because I’m a sweaty girl I need to use aluminum deodorant because non-aluminum deodorant does not help with my sweaty pits. So to have such a product at the end of the night to use, I was so stoked. So I get in the shower. I’m putting it on. I don’t think I probably used enough the first time and I follow the instructions I rinse it off and I can still feel the deodorant residue under my arms. So I do it again rinse it off still feel the deodorant residue. I’m like what “$15 and I have to do it a third time.” So I did it the third time and I let it sit for about three minutes before I rinse it off and then I felt this nice softness. But I’ve used better products The fact that I had to do it three times and then let it sit for a bit made me feel like OK this was a waste of my money, but maybe my pores were not open enough because I just got in the shower and I used it so maybe it just needed for me to wait for my pours to be more open and receptive to it. I don’t know. I just know that I’m not gonna buy this again. I hope that helps with declaration under my armpits , but yeah, the first time & last time.

This scrub has made the transition to natural deodorant a success. If I notice that my deodorant isn’t working as well (starting to smell), I use this for 2-3 days, and body odor goes away.

Ok, I love this stuff yall. I switched to aluminum free deo three months ago, and never regretted it. Here’s what I do. I use this daily, and a good amount too. Shaving helps with the smell, FYI. Then I use The Ordinary glycolic acid, I put it in a spray bottle and spritz it liberally on my underarms after the shower. Then I use Athena and Lume deo, both GREAT picks, but Lume is my favorite. I can still smell my delicious Athena Golden Vanilla at five PM, but I usually reapply about mid afternoon because I just love the smell! And I keep a mini Lume with me at all times, because driving and shopping and work make anyone sweaty. I rarely smell anything, and I actually smell better longer than when I used Secret Clinical!! I was so surprised, because I thought that was as good as it got as far as longevity! And I’m a STINKY teenager yall. Follow my routine guys!

I switched to natural deodorant two years ago, and while it was a bit challenging at first, I managed. But this year, no matter how much I washed my armpits or used antibacterial soap, that stubborn onion smell just wouldn’t go away, even after showering twice a day! I was so frustrated that I even considered going back to regular deodorant with those harsh chemicals! Before making that decision, I did some research and found this detox scrub. I ordered it, and it arrived the very next day. After just one use, I noticed a huge difference! That onion-like smell I struggled with still lingered for a few days, but after about a week of using this scrub, the odor was completely gone. Even after sweating, there’s no smell! This stuff is incredible—sometimes I don’t even need deodorant. The scent isn't overpowering, and it’s so gentle on my skin. I’m thrilled with the results I can’t believe it actually works! I definitely plan to use it for the foreseeable future!

Update #2: Been using this for almost 3 weeks now and here is my final verdict! I need to use this twice a day, morning and night. I also started to use Piper Wai deoderant at the same time, but once a day. I NEED to use BOTH in order to keep my armpit odour to an acceptable (!) level. ...I've learned that neither are cure-alls, my armpits still carry the same odour, I guess it's like what another reviewer said about what you eat, your body chemistry etc, that if you had smell armpits before you will still have them! THIS is what makes the difference for me: using the Pacifica Beauty Charcoal in combination with the Piper Wai deoderant helps to keep the odour away for awhile longer than my old aluminum laced deoderants. And as long as I can get away with not using them I am happy with the Pacifica Beauty charcoal cleanser and Piper Wai deoderant. I am still impressed by both but just disappointed I was not able to get rid of my armpit odour all together! and am I glad I did! Ok, it's only been a day and a half but I can tell you that nobody needed this more than I do!! I put it on last night (twice) and after washing it off with a warm cloth and dried, my arm pits were a different kind of clean, and dry but not an irritating dry. Haven't used it or any deoderant today because I wanted to see if I'd go back to smelling! Oh what a difference! I mean the smell emanating from my arm pits is minimal, trust me!! If I were using regular soap in the shower along with my usual deoderant I'd be stinking like a skunk by now.... When I realized it made such a difference I had to go in search of a better price, I found it and ordered 4 more jars! The price here is atrocious. ....So...to get to the instructions which said "Massage onto your underarm (armpits) in a circular motion. Rinse well..." It didn't say for how long so I massaged it in for about 3 minutes each armpit, afterall it's part charcoal and probably needs time to absorb any kind of odour. After finishing both I went back to the first and washed it off, then did the other. I think it's just as important to dry your armpits thoroughly after rinsing. I've ordered as well PiperWai Natural Deoderant, available also here on Amazon. Hopefully the two together will seal the deal and no longer will I have to test and waste money on so many useless and harmful deoderants. Will update in a few days... Update #1: Been using this little jar of awesome now for 4 or 5 days and I am even more impressed! What a game changer! I will be using this from now on and for as long as it's available at a decent price. I will NEVER EVER switch back to any of the big name deoderants again. After using this a couple of times with Piper Wai natural deoderant I would prefer just to use to this cleanser/detox alone as my armpits feel so much cleaner without the extra deoderant layer. PS My hormones are changing, I'm going through menopause and have hot flashes...if that helps anyone...and I do believe this would be great for men too! ...One more thing I'd like to add...I swear companies make products to keep us or our bodies hooked...a well known nasal spray for one, your nose becomes dependent on it if you continue to use it. Only way to break my dependency on it was with a trip to the doctor for a prescription that undid the damage without any dependency. It has to be the same darn thing with deoderant, the more you use it, the more you smell, the more you need it.
