K&N LIFETIME Cabin Air Filter: Premium, Washable, Clean Air for your Cabin

Been religiously using K&N products on ALL my vehicles since 1985. When it was time to replace the cabin air filter on one of them, it was a no-brainer to use this outstanding product in lieu of the paper elements. Changing it was more of a hassle than I wanted, but of course it is Summer in Houston, TX and anything is a chore in this heat, even in the garage. The best part of it was that this unit just slipped in just like it was supposed to with no hassles and closing up was almost enjoyable! I have noticed better air flow through the vent systems and with this unit, clean it at a regular intervals and pop it back in, saving time and money as this unit will pay for itself in the long run. Instructions included with the box were clear and concise and the thickness was spot on. Durability is without question as it is produced like the engine air filters. I have not noticed any odors being removed as it is new, but the old paper one started to smell like a gym sock occasionally, even with its short life so rain or humidity of the area must have gotten to it. No problems since replacement.

I’ve been using K&N filters - air and cabin - for about 10 years and they work as advertised. The first thing I noticed when I installed my first K&N air filter was increased fuel efficiency by roughly 2 miles per gallon. Depending upon the make and model of the vehicle - my first one went into a 2009 Cadillac CTS - I don’t think Cadillac every intended for a 68 year old woman to install an air filter because it was a bit of a challenge. However, Im not a quitter, so I grit my teeth and got the filter installed. In comparison, the cabin filter was “a piece of cake”!

Bought this as a replacement cabin filter for our Chevy Volt - only to find that the vehicle came without any filter originally. I would have put one in a long time ago if I knew the factory did not have one. It is a bit pricier(about 2 1/2 times as much) as the OEM replacement cabin air filter, but since it is washable it seemed like a sensible way to go. Very easy to install on a Chevy Volt.

K&N is the best for filters hands down

Really love K&N filters, have one in my engine intake also. Love the reusablility of them (though sometimes i do question the environmental impact of the cleaners!!) so that's why I got this one (also because mine was never changed before) and now my engine has less trouble with blowing air while driving and using the AC. Not to mention the air smells cleaner. But that's just my personal experience. Actual facts about the product are that it fits properly for my car (chevy cruze 2014), and the build quality is high.

Installation parfaite sur une Chevrolet Cruze 2016 (Gen 2). Il rentre un peu serré, mais je pense que c'est normal en raison du boîtier du filtre dans la voiture. Il fait très bien le travail, j'espère qu'il durera aussi longtemps que le reste des filtres de la marque, je suis satisfait de mon achat.

Works great. As with any k&n product it fits perfectly. Also has a notch to grab it out that the ac delco doesn’t have to take the filter out easier.
