Wilton Aluminum Angel Food Tube Cake Pan, Made Without PFAS, 10 in.

Ok tune pan for baking and easy cake removal.

I purchased this pan in order to make an angel food cake for my son's first birthday. Now, I'm no baker and that's that really anything new. So when I received this pan, I was a bit confused as to why the whole center pulled out (It definitely makes sense after using it :-)) I was so afraid that this pan would leak that I put water in it, and sure enough, the water leaked out. However, what I did not understand, is Angel food cake batter is thicker than water and did not, in fact, leak out. It made the perfect, spongy, well done angel food cake. The pan itself seems durable, and since it does come apart, easy to clean. I definitely think it was worth the money I paid.

I searched for a pan that would work to bake angel food cakes and finally found this one. It works so great! Most of the pans were smaller and required a soft drink bottle to rest them on. The only thing is that I could never find a bottle that would work. I tried various things to make this happen, and the cake pan would end up falling over. When I found this one, the little legs on it took care of my problems. I also love the fact that it is a little larger and works with most boxed cake mixes. It just simplifies my life because angel food cake is one of my favorites. The only thing that I've found is that the insert is a little difficult to clean and sometimes warps slightly, allowing the batter to leak out. I have dealt with this by putting it on a pizza pan when I put it in the oven.

Boxed angel cakes need a large capacity tube pan -- and this is perfect for that purpose. It has enough volume so that there's never any overflow; and the seal is excellent -- since it comes apart there's never any leakage. Well made; lightweight for what it is, and easy to clean and store.

I was glad to find a pan to hold the Betty Crocker Angel Food Cake mix. It rises up and doesn't run over. It doesn't leak out the bottom of the pan with the batter in it. It cleans up pretty well after soaking, with just a dish cloth. It fits inside my Ninja air fry oven, of course I use bake. The only thing I don't like, and I have been complaining about this for my whole adult life, it isn't made here, it is made in Indonesia. I almost forgot, My Wife uses a large wooden version of the popsicle stick to cut around the edge. That works well on the aluminum, without scratching it. This pan is not a light weight, flimsy aluminum. I baked my cake at 345 degrees for 47 minumtes and it came out nice and browned.

I love this pan. High quality. I’ve had other pans in the past and were cheaply made. Used it yesterday to make an angel food cake.

I do not think I received the same pan as the reviews are describing. This was a disaster. If I could give it zero stars I would. This pan destroyed my mother’s oven and after it was done leaking everywhere inside the oven , it somehow melted together and is just destroyed. I had the oven at 325°, nothing leaked on my counter. I don’t know what happened when this pan heated up, but it was a disaster. The pan is in the garbage. Unusable. I have at least 40 angel food cakes in my life. This has never happened to me . I wanted to contact the seller before posting a review, but I cannot find an option. Great pan for my chiffon cake. Good quality, well made pan. Does the job well, the feet of the pan let the cake inverted and cooled nicely. No sinking of the cake anymore. Happy with the purchase. Recommend the pan.

Acquistato 10 anni fa circa perchè volevo provare a preparare la chiffon cake, mi accompagna ancora ed è ancora perfetto. Lo stampo misura 25 cm di diametro, altezza 10 cm ed è composto da 2 parte: la base con al centro il cerchio per dare la forma alla ciambella e la tortiera. Per fare la chiffon non necessita di essere unto o foderato di carta forno, la sua caratterista sono i 3 piedini che servono a capovolgerlo per permettere alla torta di raffreddare al contrario (se la ricetta è seguita correttamente e la cottura è corretta, la torta non si stacca e non cade, non preoccupatevi!) Lo uso da anni, lo lavo sempre a mano con poco detergente neutro. Sono molto soddisfatta del mio acquisto e lo consiglio. Grazie per aver letto la mia recensione.

If you want to make an angel food cake this is your answer! Beautifully made, perfect size, detachable bottom, it has it all. We are a multi generational family of bakers from Europe and we all agree this is the best angel food cake pan we have ever seen.

Moule en aluminium de très bonne qualité et solide (l'aluminium est de bonne épaisseur). Aucun revêtement, aluminium nu, parfait pour préparer un chiffon cake / angel cake. J'en ai commandé deux d'ailleurs, malgré une première appréhension suite à certains commentaires négatifs sur la robustesse/ l'épaisseur du produit, ainsi que les problèmes de livraison (moule livré abîmé), mais il n'en fût rien : livraison parfaite et très rapide de la part d'Amazon comme d'habitude (moule très bien protégé dans son carton) et moule de très bonne qualité. A noter qu'il y a deux tailles de moule Wilton sur Amazon : celui-là est le grand modèle (10 pouces / 25,4 cm, taille standard chiffon cake pour moi) et il nécessite une recette avec 10 blancs d'oeufs (oeufs de grosse taille ; si oeufs de taille moyenne, il faut au moins 12 oeufs). Moule définitivement à ajouter à la liste d'équipements de tous pâtissiers.

This does exactly what it says on the tin; it's a great tin for making angel food cake. Just taken one out of the oven and it's perfect. Light and airy, so springy - it's like eating a cloud! As others have said, it's aluminium (so therefore very lightweight and excellent at conducting heat) and specifically designed for making angel food cake. Not bundt cakes, not fruit cakes and not run-of-the-mill sponges. It's a specialist tin - so remember that before leaving 1-star feedback cos your friend's birthday cake came out burnt on the outside and raw in the middle! I didn't have the problem that others seemed to encounter with the label - maybe Wilton have listened to the feedback? Mine was held down with just 1 dot of the peelable goo that you get when you receive a card from your bank/credit card company - easy peasy to peel off. Cleaning-wise, it's a doddle. It looks horrendous when you remove the cake from the pan (obviously encrusted with dried on sponge as you can't grease the tin) - but 30 secs soak in hot, soapy water and it just wipes off - no scrubbing, no marking the tin. It has a removable bottom so there's no faffing, trying and praying that you don't rip the top of your cake in removing it. All in all, I'm absolutely delighted with my purchase. These things are like hen's teeth to get in the UK - none of the major suppliers seem to stock them.
