What happened to this stuff? Why is it no longer available on Amazon? It is the only thing that has ever worked on my rosacea.

We have a new problem selling on amazon, a competitor ordered several times our cream and asked every time for a refund which gives us a negative rating,
then probably the same competitor (probably using different people) posted a review that there were hairs in the cream what is impossible, the factory which makes ZZ Cream is a medicine factory with very high quality standards
and is continuously controlled by the Chinese government, one cannot even enter the factory without protecting clothing to avoid any contamination.
We are selling this cream for more than 17 years without any quality issues but all these competitor actions together are enough to let amazon decide to block our listing even if we have many 5 starts reviews.
We do our best to solve this problem.

Can I add moisturizer over top of the ZZ cream?

Not recommended. Some have complained, like you, that the ZZ cream dries the skin, which ALL sulphur treatments do indeed have this effect. For those with dry skin, use your favorite moisturizer during the day and only use the ZZ cream at night just before bed. Wash it off in the AM and apply your favorite moisturizer. Some prefer rose hip oil as a moisturizer. Find a moisturizer that doesn't irritate your skin. To repeat, apply the ZZ cream at night without a moisturizer. In the AM wash your face and then apply your favorite moisturizer.

Does this product contain chinese herbs because in the ingredients list there is no mention of chinese herbs? very important part of the formula.
