Car Radio Wire Harness Compatible with Subaru CD DVD Navigation in-Dash - XT8901-21

About ten years ago I gave our daughter our Subaru when she went off to college. My husband was not happy, I can still hear him screaming -- it's a xxxxxxk dollar car and you just gave it to her....I told him I need to know she will be safe. Well, she didn't like the radio, took it out, and put a new radio in. I saved the radio she took out. The radio in my vw died four months ago. I pondered whether I could handle putting her old radio in, as the back of the radio did not match the wire harness in the vw. I found this reverse wiring harness. I had to splice and wrap 12 wires (I had one left over but ignored it) I turned the radio on .......and wha laaa, music to my ears. Of course, I had to tell my husband at least he got something back and I was very happy with the radio. He just glared at me. The harness works great.

Made repurposing an old Subaru car stereo into a "garage stereo" super easy. Just the thing I needed! Go for it.
