Cases are good - Amazon is not
UpdateCaution if ordering from AmazonI just ordered another 5 from Amazon and then my partner ordered an additional one the next day (from my their account for them). All were in stock prime and then 1 shipped out, Amazon then came back and said it was delayed, then delayed again, then again... All they did was put them right back in stock but increased the price ~$100 each. Seems pretty slimy... Can go ahead, 10 minutes later and buy again (all fulfilled by and sold Amazon...) but now the same items cost more... Cool Amazon. Good stuff.....Case is good - Amazon is not.Own 7 of this exact case. Pretty much the best (and largest) non-custom case out there for carrying delicate things. Literally can send them fedex, ups, freight, air, etc and the outside gets scratched after awhile given how bad shipping companies treat pretty much anything you give them but whatever is in the inside is perfect on the other end. Can't recommend these enough. Long time Pelican case advocate and this one does not fall short.- Solid and a bit heavy but not in a bad way. Sturdy as ever.- Do wish they would make more options in this size range though.- When planning your component placement do note that on the bottom and top, the ~1" foam that is not pick 'n pluck has a few areas that are cutout for the wheel and handle recessed areas so you lose an inch or so of padding there.- Also, they float so if you are in a Joe and the Volcano situation with a bunch of these you'll be fine.

Heavy. Inconvenient. Indispensable.
Very sturdy, and customizing the foam was easy. I feel like my telescope is protected extremely well. It is kind of a pain to open and close 12 latches, and it's really heavy, but like I said, it protects my telescope.

Great Case - Ample Amounts Of Foam Inserts
Great case so far, we will be testing it soon with a long haul shipment. There was ample amounts of foam to that could be easily modulated to fit around sensitive equipement. Just wish it was a little lighter, and licking clips more recessed to limit them being caught on something.

Beyond rugged
Absolutely perfect for transporting delicate equipment, no matter what the shipping company tries to do!I had previously commissioned a custom rack-mount flight case to transport a few rack-mount servers to trade-shows and conferences. Freight companies, however, treat anything they think they can pick up with a forklift as "target practice" - after just a few shows we ended up with forklift punctures in the outer walls of that so-called "rugged case", so we went back to the drawing board. The Pelican 1780 was the ideal solution. I customized the pick-n-pluck foam to fit:- Supermicro Quad (4 full servers in a 2U, full-depth rackmount chassis)- 24" LCD monitor- WiFi Router/Firewall/Switch- keyboard- mouse- every cable you could needEverything was snugged away in its own cut-out "compartment"When it was time to pack up for a conference, each compartment reminded me of what needed to go in, so we never turned up having forgotten some crucial component; packing up after the show was the same process.Despite shippers doing their best, it never picked up more than a few scuffs. The padlock points are steel-reinforced and large enough to accept nice large-shank padlocks (there are 4, but you could just use 2 on diagonally opposing corners if you don't have that many locks.)You won't be disappointed!Oh, and Jeb Corliss vouches for these :)

This case does not have foam inside. I knew this and that is why I bought it at a very good price.
I bought this case to store and transport a Meade 10" LX200 SCT Telescope. I already had the foam and this case cost $200 cheaper than the version with the foam. The telescope and foam fit great inside this case. It is about 6 inches longer internally for the foam, but I can fix that gap easily with some other items or foam.I am very pleased with the price, condition and delivery.

Happy customer :)
Huge, sturdy, case was as described and I'm confident that it will keep my stuff safe! It is expensive, but youre paying for piece of mind that nothing will crush your luggage. Happy customer and would buy from Pelican again!

Nitro 200 Paramotor Pilots
Yes, this will fit the Nitro 200 Paramotor. I used it to ship my paramotor across the U.S. When it was all said and done, it cost me $250ish through FedEx which included insurance. This is the one you are looking for. Worth every penny, and the paramotor arrived in immaculate condition. The case also stood up to a good beating through FedEx's shipping process...

Built tough
This thing is pretty awesome. With the pick and pluck foam, I fit 5 firearms nicely. Fits inside my crossover SUV. Wheels are nice when attempting to pull it across the dirt. Will not fit long rifles. Kind of pricey but worth it.
