Best way to carry my point and shoot.
I recently purchased an RX100 which I absolutely love and must've tried a hundred different ways to carry it around - in the pocket unprotected, in a belt attached case, in the hand with Sony's own form fitting leather case. Then I stumbled on this product. While its primary focus might be to carry DSLRs, it's by far my favorite way to carry along the RX100 handsfree without having to worry about lint in my pocket or the inconvenience of removing it from a large zippered/velcrod belt attached case. In conjunction with Sony's RX100 custom leather case, I'm able to travel everywhere with this awesome little camera. Pros: Incredibly convenient means of transporting any camera, even the smaller point and shoots, handsfree. Very easy to attach and remove from the holster without having to unzip or fiddle around with an enclosed bag. Cons: While the main part of the system consists of solidly machined metal parts, the locking tab is plastic, though the plastic parts seem very thick and sturdy so far and leads to lighter overall weight. Bottom line: I can't think of a more convenient and accessible way to carry around my camera. I love it.

This product is a thing of beauty !!!!
Just received the spider holster and am really impressed with the quality. It's perfect for my Panasonic fz150. It locks in place with a click of assurance. Holds on my belt without issue and hangs tilted to the rear, integrated like a part of my body. If your looking for a secure holder to carry discreetly, this is your answer. They must have improved the locking mechanism, Good tension on the lock release lever. You may even forget your carrying the camera alt together! Waiting for the bottom plate accessory to attach the quick release tripod plate. Has another hole to connect my hand strap. You bet I'm satisfied !! The plate can be used with a "D ring" to attach a hand strap.

Great Product!!
I wasn't sure about this thing at first but I love it! It works very good and I have no concerns with leaving my Nikon D5300 hanging from it. It is way better than having a strap around your neck all day. The only negative thing I can think of about it is that there is a chance you might fumble up and drop your camera. I'm willing to take that chance to not a strap around my neck all day. Good quality product and is comfortable to wear. If you use a bipod often you will want to get the better version of this that comes with a bracket that allows you to still use your bipod. I had my doubts when I ordered it but quickly came to like this thing. I am very glad I got one.

Awesome Product (9/10)
This is probably one of the handiest pieces of camera equipment I've ever bought. It now goes with me on every adventure and is worth everything penny. Pros: This takes weight of of your upper body and tests it all on your waist instead. The quick release is sooo easy and fast to use and doesn't even require looking down. As someone you takes their camera to theme parks pretty often, it feels very secure by my waste and it in the long run does help conservative your energy quite a bit. Very very handy little item especially if you don't like neck straps. Also makes swapping lenses much easier Con's: So I have had a couple of issues with the mounting screw getting stuck in things like my hand/wrist strap for my camera, I do highly suggest putting a washer between the screw and the camera/wherever you are screwing it in to. But also be sure to make sure its good and tight because if you don't be sure to tighten it, it can get a bit loose. That being said I've never had it come close to falling out, just a little loose. Also wish it were an all metal build but that's just me. Great Product: 9/10

Excellent for events, studio, trips. Using with Fuji X Cameras.
Using with Fuji X Cameras (X-T10 and X100S). Took me a little while to get in the grove with this, but now I love it for general use, events, studio, everything. Like others who have posted, I really do not like using neck straps. I like a slim leather wrist strap on the right side that pretty much stays out of my way. However, you may need to use your hands to hold a slice of pizza AND a tasty beverage...what does one do? This works great, the camera is quickly and securely seated in the holster and ready to be quickly drawn as needed. In the studio I can just drop it in and move lights, etc. At events it sits at my side until needed. Notes of Caution: 1) Use the wrench to make sure the pin is tight. I have never had an issue, I use the wrench each time, and I check it periodically if the rig is getting a lot of use. 2) Be mindful of your surroundings when using the holster. The camera is sticking out away from your hip, it can easily be run into something it won't like if you are not careful. 3) This one is the kicker...be extra mindful when taking care of your business after a few of the aforementioned tasty beverages! As soon as you undo your belt, your camera will want to take a dive! Make sure you have a good hold on your gear!

great product, well made.
The product seems very good quality. It fit without problem in my current belt, a tactical trainer belt, very snug. I secured the bolt to my d90 and adjusted using a 11mm wrench, just a bit more than hand tight. I will monitor if it moves. the weak part of this, will be not having the neck strap which give me some confidence in case i drop the camera.... i may add another kind of strap safety connected to my belt, just in case. Also, if something is going to break here... i think is the bottom part of my camera. the holster seems really strong, plastic, but strong, i think stronger than the bottom of the camera where the pin is secured. the pin is metal.

It is plastic besides the actual locking mechanism
I really enjoy this product. I lead hikes in the Rocky Mountains and this keeps my camera handy and right by my side. The only thing about it that I would change is that the plastic feels cheap and the lever to actually release the camera feels cheap. The actual slider that hold the camera in place however feels extremely secure when locked into place. I haven't had any false locks yet where it actually feels like the camera is locked when it isn't which is super good. Overall, you pay for what you get. This is a cheaper solution to keeping your camera available and by your side. I assume there is a full metal one which is more expensive.

Functional!
First off, the product does exactly what it's designed to do. This is to allow you to clip your lightweight camera to your belt to leave your hands free. It does this job with absolutely no issue. Initially, I was using the pin included with the Black Widow holster, but have since upgraded to the Spiderlight plate because I wanted something to use with a quick release clamp on my tripod. The holster itself is doing its job well, however, and my only complaint with it is that unlike the Spiderlight holster, it's not something you simply slip on and off your belt at a moment's notice. If you want it on, you've got to undo your belt and slide your belt through the channels in the holster. Again, this works, and for the pricepoint of this model, it's more than enough. But I'm most likely going to upgrade the holster itself to the Spiderlight holster at some point in the near future to allow me to not have to undo my belt every time. The only other complaint is a minor one. Given that it's a little bulky, the corners of the holster itself poke up into my skin uncomfortably when I'm sitting down. Not a big deal, but something to note. All in all I'm fairly happy with my purchase.

100 % recomendado
