Bessie Coleman Educational Doll and Biography

I was excited to receive this doll, as I am a Doll Artist. Also, it has been reported that our family is somehow related to Bessie Coleman. When I received the doll I was immediately disappointed. While the clothing was acurate from the photo, the facial features will horible. Instead of giving her a white teeth smile, as in the photo, they gave her light pink lips, which is not attractive on African American Dolls. The hat did not look like a Pilot Captains Hat, it looked like the hats they wear at Hot Dog on a Stick. Disappointing.

I Loved This Doll For It's Collectable Appeal & It's Educational Appeal. A Great Buy For Any Occasion. It Will Fit In Nicely With My Collection.
