Replacement Battery?
Be aware! this battery will work in a Yaesu VX-170 but it is NOT an exact replacement. The factory replacement has 3 battery terminals. Two on top and one to indicate charging on the inside, bottom right hand side, under the factory label. The battery will work in the radio but the red charging lite will NOT operate. the price is good but keep this in mind when shopping for a replacement battery.

Won't take a charge
I have 2 FT-60r's. Neither one of them will charge these batteries beyond the 6.1v level, while the original, purchased over 10 years ago, will still take their full charges. I was looking for a second set of batteries for Hurricane Season in FL.They have never worked correctly and continue to charge only between 5.8 and 6.1 volts. On both of the batteries, not just one.

Didn't work well for me
Bought this product based on prior reviews. As reviewers have noted, fits well om radio. First couple of charges, seemed to work great. About the 3rd charge, noticed it was at 6.8V after being on the charger. Even extended charge time didn't increase it to 7.2. Then noticed that when I turned radio on, it immediately dropped voltage. If I turned it off and on 3 or 4 times, charge kept dropping 0.1 or 0.2 every time I turned it on.Note: this was for one battery. I didn't even test the 2nd battery, as the $$ amount would be too high for just one. Will seek return.

Works well
One battery failed after a few months. I sent an email late Friday night to let them know. They sent me a proof a purchase request on Saturday. Monday morning I had an email stating two barteries are on their way here. I call that customer service.

Direct fit for my HT
Seems like good quality and build and fits like the factory supplied battery when new. Priced well as the fit.

Only lasts a few months
These batteries only last a month or so at best. Not impressed. Bought a different brand and is still going on strong a year later. Do not recommend these.

OEM fit is perfect
These aftermarket batteries fit the Yaesu FT60R perfectly. I will update this review if the capacity falls below normal after a few re-charges.
