Do the bristles fall out easily? I’m constantly picking hairs out of my paintings when I use my cheap watercolor brushes from my local art store

No, the hairs on these brushes do not fall out. They come to a nice point and have just the right snap. I’ve been very pleased.

Bought item, received unsealed empty package

A similar thing happened to me. I received my package--sealed--but empty. I called Customer Service at Amazon and they sent me a replacement--a package containing what I had ordered originally. Who knows what happened to your package, but Amazon should take care of this for you.

How do they work with watercolor?

They work very well, holds enough water for a synthetic set of brushes.

How do these work with ink? Can they be used for ink drawings?

Yes.They are synthetic bristles so ink shouldnt hurt them. Even though theyre cheaper they are really nice brushes. I use them for watercolor which is similar to ink and they are perfect. They will work great for ink
