I've owned these for a little while now and can say with certainty they are 1000 times better than GHDs - which I've used for years and won't be buying in future. For context I have long, thick hair. The biggest plus points for Revamps: 1. The thick, quality cable which isn't too long & doesn't need constant unwinding / untangling (unlike GHDs - the disproportionately long and cheap & thin cable was often what caused my GHDs to expire before their time). Also comes with attached cable tie which means you can shorten the cable when in use and when storing & travelling. 2. The smooth, snag free plates - they're amazing. 3. Adjustable heat setting for different areas/thickness of hair - I prefer a lower heat setting for my fringe for eg. I tend to use at 190 degrees for length and 160 or lower for fringe. 4. Fast heat up 5. Lightweight and comfortable to use, nice soft touch finish. 6. Comes with a heat resistant mat and hair clips 7. Great price - just bought a back-up pair at £35! These definitely leave my hair looking smooth and straight after use and I don't always need to touch up. Would highly recommend.

OH MY GOODNESS AMAZING. Received today and thought I would try out the iron in between meetings. And I am amazed. Had the heating on the lowest setting as I have fine hair that is in desperate need of a cut after being signed by my GHDs. I've had GHDs for well over 20 years , always bought them as I thought they were supposed to be the best but never have I managed to get such easy to create, glossy curls, and they've held all day. If you're umming and ahhhing I urge you to try these, they work great for my fine hair and the curls I've managed to create on the lowest setting are just amazing and so bouncy. I know I sound like an add but I genuinely bought them myself and had to leave a review as they are just so good for curling. And at £44 well worth the purchase.

I bought these as the reviews were great. These are the best I've had. My hair is so soft after using them and keeps my hair straight for longer as I have frizzy hair. I love the heat up as it's so fast, they are also lightweight and comfortable to use. Definitely rate these as a good quality hair straighteners and value for money for the lower price tag.

So far so good. Heat up very quickly. Plates run smoothly through hair. Lovely finish. Compared to cheaper brands, these are definitely worth paying a little extra for. If they last as long as my old straighteners (10+ years!) I will be very happy.

Really impressed! Never leave reviews but felt I needed to. Always had GHD’s and after my last pair started to go I did some research as didn’t want to pay out that much again…these came up so have given them a go. I have to say they are actually better than my GHD’s. Heat up really quickly, temperature options and glided through my hair without snagging. Only test left is to see how long they last!

I purchased these because I felt that my babyliss were getting a little old and snagging my hair. Not wanting to spend a massive amount on ghds etc, I opted for the Revamp. I was actually blown away when I tried them. I have fine hair but lots of it and it's shoulder length. These straighteners just glide through my hair and literally my hair stays straight for days. I may need to do a little touch up here and there where I have slept on it but I'm really impressed. I would definitely purchase other products from revamp. I should have said that I have owned GHD's in the past and whilst I think they are great products, they are a little on the expensive side and in my opinion, these do exactly the same job.

So impressed with these! Almost spent over £200 on GHDs but so glad I didn’t. A real likeness to GHD but without the price tag.
