I have severe neuropathy that started seven years ago after a massive doze of Jellyfish toxin following a boating mishap. Prior to trying this specific sock I had tried other brands of socks, acupuncture, spinal injections of steroids four times a year for the past four years, all sorts of yoga, pain pills (two every four hours, 24/7). I could get partial relief for brief periods of time, but the neuropathy continued to progress until I had almost no sense of balance, and the pain was up to my knees. The pain is still present, but so reduced that I've only taken six Tylenol in the past ten days! My balance is still off, but much better than it had been. I even walked out of a restaurant without my cane and had to go back for it. When may last steroid injection was due, I was thrilled to be able to tell the Dr. that I didn't need it yet, and I'd call him when I did. The technique shown in the directions works the best, but it still feels like I should call a tow truck sometimes. That's NOT a complaint.
