I’ve been using the Vive Alternating Air Pressure Mattress Pad and I must say it has truly improved my comfort during extended periods in bed due to my diagnosis of PLS. The gentle alternating air pressure provides much-needed relief and support, helping prevent bedsores, and making long hours in bed significantly more bearable.One recommendation I have for anyone setting up this mattress pad is to place the air input intake at your feet instead of near your head. Initially, I had it positioned at the head, but the buzzing sound from the air hoses switching disrupted my sleep throughout the night. Moving it to the feet solved this issue and made the setup much quieter and more restful.Overall, I would highly recommend this mattress pad as a reliable and effective solution for anyone looking to prevent bedsores and enhance comfort while spending extended time in bed. It’s a thoughtful addition that has made a noticeable difference in my daily comfort.

This is a great mattress cover. My mom has been bedridden for five years and recently developed a bedsore. I panicked. A neighbor told me to order this because she used it for her bedridden dad. My mom is more comfortable and her legs no longer ache when I move them! It helped the bedsore heal fast! Took seconds to assemble. It’s so quiet I forget it’s there. Very satisfied customer

Best value for a well made alternating air matresss. Placed on my bed against the nurses wishes because it wasn’t “Certified” or approved by the hospital. Took my wife about 20 minutes to set up and inflate. The mattress is an incredible value and seems well made. The pump is extremely quiet and adjustable. The improvement over a worn out hospital mattress was immediate. Within an hour I was able to get some sleep and my blisters from sheet burns are now healing. My roommate had the hospital supplied mattress which was noisy and bulky. He is/was envious as he has to rent his mattress from a medical supply dealership. Have absolutely no complaints so far!

Very comfortable and very quiet. I can hardly hear the motor at all. Only concern is that it can be slow to inflate and the inflation may not be that even. The configuration of the inflated balloons (I'm not sure what to call them) are such that you can tell the ones that are inflated and the ones that are not which, at first, left a very mild discomfort. I said the setting way down and it doesn't appear to bother me anymore. Additionally, I turned it off when I'm not in bed so it does not overinflate without any weight against it. That may have helped as well. Finally, since it's been used on a hospital bed, when the head of the bed or the foot of the bed is folded, it appears as if the air does not get to some of those sections as efficiently. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and can recommend it.

This air pressure pad works wonders. It helps prevent bed sores and my Mom felt immediate and lasting comfort. The air pump is super quiet. Highly recommend!

This does fit a twin XL no problem. Try to put it on without the patient in bed however, if you have two people or more, it can be put on with the patient in bed. Air pressure fluctuates every six minutes, and I am told by the patient It’s very comfortable. I would definitely buy another one again if needed.

My daughter is paralyzed from a car wreak and when she came home from the hospital she was getting bed sores even with us turning her every few hours. I ordered this for her and within two days she was bed sore free and hasn’t had any more since. Absolutely great. I don’t usually do these reviews but it definitely deserves one.
