Well packed, perfect fitment
I recently had purchased a cheaper brand radiator on Amazon for my 1999 4Runner which was half the cost. However, after I received it, I realized it was half the cost because the manufacturer had skimped and made the actual coils thinner (from front to rear). So basically that radiator wouldn't hold as much radiator fluid, thus making it harder to cool off your engine. It was also as light as a feather as it was otherwise made with so much plastic instead of metal. So I bit the bullet and bought this Denso brand radiator, which was twice as much. But I'm glad I did, because it was an OEM quality, thicker coiled radiator. Others have said on here that when they received their radiator from Denso, the overflow nipple was busted off. But mine was packed very good, and the overflow nipple was intact. The only thing I didn't like about this radiator, was there were no machined screw holes for the fan shroud. Where those holes were, Denso put nut clamps so that the bolts could be screwed through the holes and into the clamps. Not a big deal as it worked out fine, I just would have liked them to have been machined screw holes, like the machined screw holes where the radiator mounts to the vehicle frame.

It fit in my 98 4runner perfectly. No shipping damage.
It fit in my 98 4runner 2.7 with no issues. No shipping damage. Works perfect. It's held up for 3500 miles and 4 months so far. I've done a couple 200 mile trips which is pretty far for me and no leaking or overheating. My original radiator actually kinda surprised me because it didn't leak much until I took it about 70 miles on the highway with no cell service and I get out and it sprayed coolant all over my driver wheel well, luckily I had a couple jugs of coolant and plenty of water so I made it home, ordered this a couple days later though lol. Seems like a quality part, I will update if that changes.

2001 Toyoda 4runner
The box came battered and shot up. I wasnt discouraged due to previous reviews. Sort of a badge of honor I guess. When I opened the box...it was layin in there with a big smile on its face. Just had to bend back a bracket and open up the hooks a little. But it fit right in and every bolt, clamp, bracket went right back in place. It smelt good as it warmed up. Lol that nasty antifreeze smell faded away. Didn't even cut myself this time! Usually draw a little blood but ....nothing. Great radiator/company. It just the delivery. It's like it goes through some time warp civil war battle. It says fragile on the box but...lol...maybe it should have a definition next to it.

Tight fit, but did work on my 99 3.4L 4Runner
Tight fit, but did work on my 99 3.4L 4Runner. Once it was slid into place, it's been working perfectly! No leaks or issues with temperature.

Great fit and performance.
Identical to OEM for easy fit and install in 2002 4Runner. Purchased months ago, and still no issues. Item packaged well to avoid damage to delicate fins. Would recommend.

DO NOT BUY! Does not fit! Useless!
I was really hoping that this radiator would work due to it being a Denso rather than the generic ones carried by Autozone or Advanced Auto. After all Denso has a great reputation with electronics and the factory radiator is supposed to be somewhat related to Denso. Anyhow DO NOT BUY THIS GARBAGE!. Radiator arrived all sloshed around due to the foam not being placed properly and worst of all after installation I noticed the nipple in the fill spout was broken! (yes I should've read prior reviews). Installation wasn't without issues. The bottom is too wide to fit through the frame so both the sides have to be bent flat (or take the fan off). This is definitely not a first time fit as it states. I ended up purchasing one through Advanced Auto and it was the exact size as the factory except the holes would not allow the fan shroud to fit correctly but I have run it in the past without one so it doesn't matter much. All in all do not buy this radiator its just gonna cause more grief than help. In fact being this is the third car part defective from Amazon I DO NOT recommend buy car parts from them (big ones anyhow). Go to other well known sites.

Great OEM radiator for Toyota 3rd Gen 4Runner, except...
I wish they utilized the same drain plug design as the original. Was flushing out the system and had to experience fluid shooting out all over the place several times because the plug doesn't have a setting like OEM where you can unscrew to a certain point where it will drain normally. The plug is shorter than OEM and you have to unscrew the whole thing in order to drain the system. And if you're not ready it, the flow comes shooting out straight towards the back before it slows down and drains downward. If you're flushing your system, I recommend having a coolant kit with the funnel for the radiator. Use the funnel to direct the flow into a pan/bucket when you remove the plug. You'll still experience some spillage as you're removing the plug, but it can be minimized. Otherwise, mine came undamaged and was easy to swap in.

Perfect fit for 2000 4Runner
Fast shipping, no damage to packaging. Direct fit, was installed in about an hour, and most of that was allowing the system to drain. Over 500 miles driven since install, no issues. Recommend for other 3rd Gen owners.

Didn’t come damaged and was easy to assemble in my 97’ 4Runner well besides the bolts being in an awkward spot.

I've bought it for my 98 4runner. Package was ok, radiator was not damaged but it comes without a cap. The biggest problem was that it is 1cm wider than the old one. And even with the old brackets it doesn't fit into frame and hooks/bolt holes were misaligned. So I have to hammer the brackets to compensate this centimeter.

Well i read the reviews about the shipping nightmares, and i took the chance. Well i got unlucky , the overflow nozzle is completely snapped off. You know if they would just point the nozzle toward the battery like oem and NOT TOWARD THE ENGINE, then this might not happen as often. Infact if you do decide to take the gamble and order this thing, you might need to order a longer overflow hose because of the orientation .The box arrived in pretty rough shape , a large amount of the cooling fins had been clearly smushed also.

This Radiator arrived broken in the same location as previous reviews.
