I bought this for a trip to Ireland and I’m glad I did because of course it rained every day! This is 100% waterproof, not a drop gets through it and it doesn’t wet-out like some other technical fabrics. It isn’t as breathable as some of those other fabrics but not a problem when it’s cold. Now I use it all the time for fishing, walking the dog and doing errands. Great value!

Definitely a work wear coat comparable to a Carhartt style. Based upon coat shown on model and HH brand I expected a more form fitting/tailored fit. Very squared cut beneath the armpits that flares out slightly towards the waist. No frills, thick (very thick), and water tight. At 5'8 160lbs the Med has plenty or room for layering underneath. The sleeves fall just above knuckles and coat fully covers rear end. I contemplated ordering a Small thinking it would fit more like photo representation but I fear that the chest/armpit area will be too tight to allow for necessary layering.

Bring on the rain! It feels well made and keeps you dry. It is a button up jacket which is a bummer but it definitely does it's job.

I'm 5'8", 190 lbs. 35 waist. I thought medium would be right. Amazon suggests I get the small. Both were wrong. I'm returning the medium for the large. Overall appearance, I'm pleased with my choice. Looks well worth the price. Just wish it had zipper, than snaps.

Been wearing Helly Hansen products for years, nothing compares!

As a professional shark wrangler I spend most of my time upon the high seas. Squalls, storms and typhoons are part of my every day grind. This Helly Hansen raincoat has kept me bone dry even amidst the most torrential downpours. After being captured by pirates, my life was spared because their captain so admired the cut and fit of my raincoat/jib. The pockets are roomy and are great for storing back-up mini harpoon-guns. There are numerous buttons and snaps, some of which I have yet to determine the purpose for. Otherwise it is a fantastic piece of outerwear.

Este año ha sido uno excepcional en lluvias y tenía varias chaquetas supuestamente impermeables pero nada más lejos de la realidad. He comprado esta sin conocer la marca y encontrando ésta al poner en el buscador "impermeable de trabajo". Tenía ciertas dudas con ella pero al recibirla y usarla bajo la lluvia las he despejado todas. Esta chaqueta es un impermeable magnífico. A pesar que cuenta con algunas costuras no se filtra ni una sola gota de agua. Es, sin duda, la mejor opción calidad precio que pude haber encontrado. Destacar que la política de Helly Hansen en Amazon es mantener el precio siempre igual, ni subirlo en invierno ni bajarlo en verano fuera de la temporada de lluvias, así que es muy ajustado. Por poco más de 50€ se puede uno llevar un producto de muy alta calidad. Destacar que es impermeable no sólo de fuera para dentro: tampoco transpira por lo que hay que tener esto en cuenta porque bajo una lluvia fuerte se puede pasar calor con esta chaqueta. La recomiendo fervientemente.

Ottima impermeabile. Necessaria per chi deve andare in giro in moto o a piedi sotto la pioggia. Testata piu volte per ore ed è fantastica

Die PVC-Beschichtung führt auf Grund ihrer Dicke dazu, dass die gesamte Jacke etwas steif wirkt. Dennoch: angenehm zu tragen.

It is good, solid as what others have said. It is not tight fitting.

100% would recommend as its 100% waterproof. I think breathability in coats is mostly a marketing game, I find they always permeate water in the end in driving rain and with cycling. The coat is loose enough to allow for some airflow, especially with wind. Best have long sleeves as it doesn't feel amazing on bare skin.
