TramontinaPolywood steak knife set-6 piece

The first set was a gift from my husband's work salesman back in the 80's. They were light colored handles and came with a wooden knife holder. We used them all the time but they kept disappearing over the years. I had a bright idea one day and decided to look them up on line. To my surprise, I found the new version with dark handles. I was a little disappointed about the handles color but I relented and ordered them anyway. They are made the same, cut beautifully and I love using them. Thank you for still making a wonderful product. I am going to give them as gifts, so I will be ordering more soon.

I originally purchased the same Tramontina knives at Sam's about 2 decades ago! Still have most and love them. But, after so many years, they are getting tired looking and I needed more knives. When I saw that they were still being made, I promptly ordered from Amazon. These knives are amazing! They cut the thinnest slices of tomatoes without shredding them. Of course, they are great with all vegetables, fruits, beef and chicken as well! They are very sharp and I will probably have the new set for many, many years to come. I strongly recommend them .

My first set lasted many years ( REALLY GOOD BUY ) that's why I specifically searched for this exact brand toreplenish what have been misplaced or stolen. They remain sharp for a really LONG time ( longer than themiracle blades - a set which I also Own did not last anywhere as long )My family LOOVVEESSSS the Tramontina brand products like steak knives, forks etc.

These knives are as advertised. Good for the dishwasher not like your typical wooden handles which holds moisture after washing. Super sharp, light weight and comfortable enough for diner ware. We bought six and will buy 2 more for a full compliment of tableware.

Had purchased Tramontina knives as a set from Sam's Club years ago, and they were great for clean slicing without tearing or leaving ragged edges on the items cut. Eventually the blades separated or broke from the handles, so the wife bought a set of Linea Tutti knives from Sam's Club that did not slice cleanly. This set of Tramontina knives we purchased, like the Linea Tutti knives, have rivets in the handles, so we can expect years of usage without the previous breaking problem with our original set of Tramontina knives. I liked the blade size of our original set more than these, but they cut cleanly, so I am satisfied. Seller does not supply you with any product info or original packaging. You'll get an envelope of knives, period. If there is any kind of warranty, not sure just how you would go about obtaining it without any sort of bar code. Almost felt like I was dealing with an e-Bay seller, especially when I called to inquire about the lack of material accompanying the knives.

LOVE these knives. Got them to replace a wooden set I bought 25 years ago. Same brand! Same size. They look really nice are work as needed. It's great to find dishwasher safe knives that don't rust and still cut over time.

sharrrrp knives like they should be. nice wooden handles. have stayed sharp now a year into it. cant buy anything close to these in a box store. metal gauge is a bit thin and they have a tiny bit of flex to them but does not affect anything

The handles are a little thinner than I would prefer, but the overall function is great!

These are the best steak knives. I have the same and bought them to have more, as I love them. Pros: they're great to cut just about any food. Cons: need handwashing. Nevertheless I recommend these knives. Somewhat expensive but worth to have. Arrived promptly. Very satisfied
