Great choice when they're priced lower
My two dogs like these treats. They enjoy them, they don't love them, but then they're difficult, they're poodles, they're... French. My dogs are small and these are perfectly sized for them. The size of the treat is not uniform, there are long ones and thick ones and bits and pieces and dust, but as a crushed topping they're awesome. I actually keep small pliers near the treat jar so that I can break up the treats. One crush and they become brittle and easy to break up. They also make a fine intact treat... quite good. I'm the kind of person who looks at the price per ounce of foods and treats -- as well as the general ingredients. The price on this fluctuates wildly. When they're inexpensive, they're awesome, now that they're higher priced, I'm switching to something else. Many of the similar treats... with identical ingredients... are sold in very small bags for just half the price of these. That can amount to paying ten times more (per ounce) when buying the smaller bag. If you're the kind of person who buys cute little (thinking itty bitty little jars of Skippy peanut butter) overpriced containers of household items, I don't think you (or your animals) are the intended market for these treats. They're just not that refined. The more frugal, yet still quality-minded, shopper, however, when these are purchased toward their lower price range, will be very pleased -- Five star pleased, when adjusted for somewhat lower (I'd say "realistic") expectations. After opening, but being careful to reseal the bag, these treats will last for months, in my experience. Its great that there isn't any filler in the treats, like, really great, IMHO. There's a little bit of "gristle" and hard stuff... all seem to be genuine, related animal parts, in some treats. I regard that as essential roughage that is beneficial for dogs. The material is tendon or something, not hooves and hair. My advice is to buy a big bag when its on sale if you have a smaller dog. Divide the bag into a couple of batches to preserve freshness and put them back in the bag. The manufacturer might consider doing this for you.

PureBites Beef Liver Treats, My Dogโs Favorite with Great Variety
I purchased these PureBites Beef Liver Freeze-Dried Dog Treats for my golden retriever, and she absolutely loves them! Iโve used them for a month as training rewards and occasional snacks, and the single-ingredient, 100% USA-sourced beef liver is perfect for her sensitive tummy, causing no digestive issues. The multiple flavor options, like beef, chicken, and salmon, keep her excited, and I love mixing them up for variety during our walks and training sessions. Compared to other treats Iโve tried, PureBites are high in protein (5 calories per treat), crumble-free, and leave no residue on my hands, making them ideal for on-the-go use. As someone who loves vibrant, pet-friendly products (inspired by my passion for colorful and healthy pet solutions), these treats are a staple in our home. The recyclable packaging, not highlighted in the listing, is a thoughtful bonus for eco-conscious pet parents. Iโd recommend PureBites to any dog owner seeking nutritious, single-source treats that picky pups adore!

Great for training
These have become a staple as high value training treats for our puppy. Perfect for when you are starting down/settle or stay. Iโve also crumbled some of these in a wrapped towel as part of a sniff game for him to find or on top of his food as a special treat

Good price, good treat, a little hard for my specific needs, but still thumbs up!
My dog has diabetes, and because of this needs to eat and get an injection at regular intervals. However, like any being, sometimes she is not in the mood or seems to tire of certain kibbles. Our solution was to sprinkle a freeze dried liver treat atop each meal, because unlike other dog treats nowadays these are tasty (at least she thinks so!) and *just* meat (which we need because of the diabetes?). Although I have since moved on to another product, because this particular treat is hard to break up into a powder to top her meals, I still think this is a good treat, and so I give it 4 stars. Here are my thoughts: 1. It's JUST meat! Once you have a diabetic dog - or dog with any issue that makes you have to read labels - you will be shocked to find so much cr%& is in dog food. It's pretty much as bad as modern people food - processed as heck and full of: Sugar, fillers, tons of worthless processed grains, etc. This treat is freeze dried liver. Just liver. 2. They are smelly, stinky, yucky, icky, funky and blap! DOGS LOVE THEM! 3. Despite the above, the treats *are* freeze dried, so unless you are breaking them up with your fingers or spoons like we were you probably won't get much yucka on your hands. 4. Even though the product is pure meat, it's freeze dried so that it lasts a long time. This little bag will probably never go bad on you with regular use. I do recommend this product. I do confess we have moved on to another one because it is easy to break up and sprinkle over our dog's meals, where this treat is pressed into sheets and cut into little rectangles... they are quite hard. The one we moved to is this one, for those interested: One Rewards Chicken Breast Freeze Dried Dog Treats, 20-Ounce and it is: softer, more product at once (at 20 oz) since we use it often and that just made sense for our needs. I will review *that* product when I finish the bag, same as I did for this one, to give it a fair run! :-) Again I do think PureBites is a perfectly fine liver treat, a great price and a good size if you don't feed it a lot and/or have a lot of dogs, etc. Ask questions if you have any and feel free to check out my reviews for some other dog products, especially if your pup has diabetes like ours. Best of luck and hope this helped! :D

Great high protein treat
My dog absolutely loves the PureBites Beef Liver treats! The ingredients are simple and clean, which I really appreciate โ just 100% beef liver with no added fillers or artificial ingredients. Theyโre lightweight, easy to break into smaller pieces for training, and perfect for picky eaters. Even the small entry-size bag stayed fresh and lasted longer than I expected. Great high-protein treat option for dogs of all sizes. Will definitely buy again!

My Dog is addicted. ๐ She can't get enough of these.
Highly recommended! Your Dog will love these treats and love you for getting them. Friendly warning though..... you might want to get more than one of the small bags or just get the big bag. After your pup gets that first taste, they will want more. Much, much more. So it might be a good idea to have a large quantity on hand. Trust me, your pup will not be able to get enough. Every time I took my Chiweenie, (a Chihuahua and Dachshund mix, and Yes, that is what they are Really called), to the Vet, he would give her a treat as soon as he entered the room. And, every time, my dog, Butterfly, would scarf it down and then look for more. After a while I decided to ask him what they were and where I could get some. He told me they were beef liver treats that came in different brands and I could get them from various places. So I went online and looked for liver treats that were healthy as well as tasty. I found various brands with good ratings/reviews. I purchased small packets/bags of different flavors from each brand. (ie Chicken, Beef, Fish, etc.. even Lamb and Duck Liver). I let Butterfly try each one separately and this one was, by far, her favorite. So much so, that after trying these, she absolutely will not touch any of the other brands or flavors. She would just look at them and then give me a look as if to say, "Seriously? This Crap? You know better than that. Now give me the good stuff! Stupid Human!". It's like puppy crack. She can't get enough of them. She's turned into a little liver treat addict. Which makes them perfect for bribery, or "training", as others call it. ๐ Either way, the promise of a liver treat is all it takes to get her behave or calm down or do things she normally wouldn't want to do. I highly recommend these treats. Not only are they healthy, but your dog will Love them. And love you for getting them.

Great product !
Our pups love them ! They are easy to digest and do not cause any gi issues ! Fantastic treat for training even the pickiest eaters and act as a fantastic high value treat to train new tricks and gain focus ! They have a strong enough scent to entice the pup but itโs faint enough that it wonโt bother you and easy to break up into small pieces!

Love this product
Love this product for my dog. Love how pure it is. The beef is her favourite by far. Very high quality and the price on here is the most competitive by far. The only complaint I have is that the keep shipping in bags or envelopes instead of boxes so half of it is crushed by the time we receive it, which makes it more difficult to feed to my dog. The nature of this product really requires a box for shipping.
