This is the perfect companion to the Testo Vacuum gauge. For HVAC (Minisplit) high pressure test, this is GREAT and worked well on a 600PSI nitrogen test I just ran last week. It uses iPhone for display and pairs with bluetooth. The only ding I can say is the APP is a little confusing at first, and doesn't respond until there is pressure detected, then it springs to life and starts measuring. LOVE THIS. And the companion Vacuum that looks exactly the same. Essential for Minisplit DIY if you want to test your lines properly. This saves $ over the all-in-one gauges from CPS and others.

The Testo High Pressure Gauges (and Vacuum Gauge) are vital tools in an HVAC kit. I recently installed a mini-split and wanted to test out the pressure after hooking everything up. I had decided on the Testo platform and already had their Digital Manifold, so I added in the wireless probles. These connect very easily to the system, though I do recommend using them alongside with a core removal tool or core depressor so you can easily isolate and disconnect them. This is to avoid releasing that short burst of refrigerant, especially from the high side when connecting. I mostly using Appion tools for the removal / depressor tools. For traditional systems, these will just connect right up to the high / low side ports. If you are connecting to a mini-split, you'll likely need a 5/16" adapter. Though I dont think Testo makes sense, they are readily available and I have a few different brands that I keep in the kit. I'm very happy with the testo tools, and that you can save all the data to the App for future review. Since these don't need to be connected with hoses, if you dont want to, you are also potentially losing less refrigerant when using them. When combining these with the wireless temperature clamps, the app will automatically calculate subcool / superheat so you can properly review and charge the system accordingly. This definitely beats the manual method. Even though these do cost more to make a complete kit, I would take this over a manual gauge any day for its accuracy and other features.

I have three mini split air conditioner/heaters and over time each one has required some service. I ended up buying my own nitrogen tank and I use this Testo to monitor the pressure while testing the lines. I like the table feature when reading pressure on my phone, it gives like one minute or one second or other updates however frequent you want monitoring the pressure. It worked well, it’s very helpful.

Great product, had the first gen a few years ago worked wonders and just recently picked this gen 2 and paired it with MeasureQuick app, it's amazing! Also the bluetooth distance is alot better too now. Just get it! You won't be disappointed.
