What is the difference between the gold sea moss and the purple?

Purple sea moss is shade dried, retaining its natural colour vs gold sea moss is sundried, losing its natural colour. I will tell ya to me and other people I know who make there own gel. This brand is good. I purchased elsewhere and got fake stinky and damp. So here I am. This 1 is DRY and Odorless Which is real
