Good book. Poor print.

Although the cover is blue in colour, actually it is orange. Coming to the binding and print, it's exceptional. Reading previous reviews I was a bit worried of the print quality. But hatsoff! Perfectly on money this book is. Not read though, but both original Sanskrit texts and the English translation are printed. Brief description about author can be found in the introduction. If you are interested in mythology then this will be one of the perfect choices!

Makes this classic accessible to the modern reader; also has the actual Sanskrit text for those who know the language. Her honest treatment of the "erotic" there gives us a feel of the way this great poem actually is, leaving us free to find the "allegorical" on our own.
