Langzu Men's Genuine Leather Cowhide Vintage Messenger Bag Shoulder Bag Crossbody Bag

I just received this product and I am still getting used to it. I bought it because it was small and not bulky and for the fact that it has plenty of compartments, plus the genuine leather look is appealing. This is a SMALL satchel, maybe a bit shorter than the length of a man's hand. It is stiff leather at first and has that wonderful leather smell to it. It looks as though it is "worn and slightly weathered"; as though you have had it for years but took very good care of it. Personally, I think it adds to the appeal. It has PLENTY of zippered compartments on the outside with a couple more on the inside. It will take a little "breaking in" to feel more comfortable, in my opinion. It's great for carrying extra items such as eyeglasses (in case), keys, wallet or card carrier, small notebooks and pens, and anything else you don't want cramming in your pants pockets. It can hold a paperback book but as I said it will take more breaking in the stiffness of the leather for that to fit comfortably with any other items you may put into it. Overall, I do like this product and recommend it. It fell short of 5 Stars only for the simple fact that I thought it could have been just a couple more inches wider.

Updated April 2023: i have been using this bag daily since i bought it in 2018. it has a separate pocket for each key thing i carry everday: contact lens case, keys, wallet, phone, pen, knife, sun glasses. Now after 5 years of use, the stitching around a corner is loose and the zipper there does not open or close easily. So i am buying a replacement now and will give the old one away. bag has seven zippered compartments, each compartment a different size, making each perfect for securely storing separate items. A full-length wallet fits into two longest compartments. The biggest compartment can store sunglasses easily. Keys can fit into 5 pockets. There is a slim zippered pocket on backside of bag large enough to store an id. There is a zippered compartment within a zippered compartment good for keeping a passport.Construction is good. Leather outside, lined on the inside. Bag arrives packed with paper to protect its shape in shipping, with desicant to keep it dry.Nylon strap is heavy duty. There are three hooks on the bag to attach the strap to carry the bag three ways: horizontal, vertical, or diagonally.

The actual bag for this item is sturdy and durable. I like the smell and all of the fun pockets to storage things. I was surprised to be able to fit my iPad mini in there too.I didn't care for the strap or how it attaches to the bag. The strap attaches behind the bag. If you have it on one shoulder, it seems to bounce around too much. You almost have to wear it across your body, but then the strap cuts/rubs into your neck because there is not shoulder pad made on it. The strap is detachable; if find a strap you like better, you can easily swap them out for better comfort.

Workmanship, leather and zippers are excellent. There is more than enough room to carry a 8" tablet, smart phone, checkbook, wallet, note pad, keys, etc., and still have extra room but not look bulky. My personal preferences would to include a small leather strap so the bag can be hand carried, a removable leather shoulder strap rather than the nylon strap and bronze metal finish instead of silver, which I think are more fitting for a men's bag. The strap could be snapped onto the same metal rings the shoulder strap is attached. I have used a men's bag for over 40 years and have 3 other similar bags with small straps and have found them convenient to hand carry at certain times. I would recommend this bag.

I bought this bag for my husband because he was always misplacing one of the items he usually stuffed into his pockets - keys, wallet, phone, sunglasses, etc. He loves it and uses it every day. He's gotten many compliments from strangers, asking where we found it. We've had to go onto Amazon's site several times from stores, restaurants and the gym to show other people how to order it. I bought my husband the dark brown bag first and now have ordered the lighter brown one besides. The sturdy strap is useful to wear across his shoulder like a messenger bag and the zippers are heavy duty. It has 6 compartments of varying sizes. We think it's a good price for the quality and it's solved the problem of searching through pockets and/or losing things!

This is a nice, high-quality bag, and a bargain for the price. The leather is good quality, looks like it'll age well, and the workmanship seems very solid.This is just the thing for taking on planes. It's a good size for my 7" Fire Tablet, and I figure an 8" tablet would fit fine as well. And it's got pockets for everything else I need.And for the man who resists carrying something that might be mistaken for a "purse", the styling is very masculine. It's probably time for men to admit that they carry too much stuff around these days, especially with big phones, and wearing a jacket in the summertime just so you have pockets to carry stuff around in can be very uncomfortable. This is a good solution.

In my case, I found this to be kind of bulky, and not very stationary / stable when you put it on, so I haven't used it much since purchased. I guess I knew all this before I bought it, I am one who takes all information regarding a product, into consideration before a purchase. I considered the dimensions, the finish on it and the number and placement of metal D-rings on this little messenger bag, all before purchasing. And after several incidences of lost / misplaced wallets, I opted to try this one out anyway. I found that if you happen to have to do something like bend over to pick something up, or if you have to move something it slides around way too much for me and gets in the way, even when the straps or shortened. It does however have plenty of room for all my stuff, with good quality zippers and pockets, and it is very attractive!. I am going to try and see if buying another longer strap and connecting it to one of the back D-rings, and putting it around my waist will fix the problem. It is too nice a bag to just have hang on my coat rack.

Returning -the leather is so thick and tough in a small you can hardly get your fingers in.
