Its meant for leather but it's great for making custom gaskets...

Would be good for very light material
I bought these to punch holes in rubber mud flaps for my work. I put a 2x4 behind the mud flap and punch through the rubber. They have bent at the weak points of the shaft and are cracked. Wouldn’t recommend for that use. But worth the try to not have to pay for the snap-on punches.
