Einstein Knit/Leather Smart Series Dress Casual Oxford with NeverWet Navy Textile/Nubuck 8.5

I really like these shoes. They are not cheap, but they are nice and stylish. Here are my positives before I dive in to one point to take a serious note of at the end.Positives:- Very stylish- Nice fit- Comfortable walkingTo note: PLEASE READ THIS FOR YOUR INFORMATION- The material is soft, kind of like cloth so don't expect hard material shoes which are what most shoes are made of. These are more summer-style soft material. Would definitely not do well in the rain (or if someone steps on you for that matter)I am glad I purchased them but whether I recommend them depends on how much you like the style. If you're not too fussed about the style maybe they are not for you.

6/7 Update: I decided to give these 4 stars became of the look and I can deal with the snug fit.I wanted to love these shoes the look is nice. The design of the shoe is the issue as other reviewers have noted. They aren't true to size I wear a 9.5-10 depending on the shoemaker (the majority of the time a 9.5). I have a medium to slightly wide foot (I fit in most shoes at normal width and definitely normal width in sneakers, Allen Edmonds is different story, they depend on the shoe last). These are a full size too long in the toe box and too narrow across the metatarsals (your little toe gets compressed). Unless you have a narrow foot you will feel cramped. They do stretch but you still can feel the tightness with them on sitting or walking. (It isn't terrible) I had to send these back because of the length(2 1/4 inch gap from the big toe to the end of the shoe) they looked like clown shoes with the toes pointing up a slight bit. Make sure you purchase half to a full size down.Update: I ended up going direct to Dockers and buying a size 9. They fit much better in length (still a bit long about 1 inch from the big toe to the front of the shoe, which is a marginal call some people like that I prefer just enough so the big toe doesn't hit the front of the shoe when walking, running, etc.). They stretched out but they are still a slight bit tight, meaning you know you have them on your feet.See the picture (these are the size 9) Blue arrow- is length (too long),Yellow arrows- show they are narrow as the outside of my foot extends over the edge a bit, it shows the snug fit (this is after wearing them for several days and them finally stretching).

I really wanted these shoes to work for me, but I have a wider foot bed. This shoe is narrower than most. I wear a 13M comfortably, and while I'm not certain, I think M is standard width. Outside of the shoe being too narrow, it was very good looking and seemed well-made. I'd definitely buy it again if it came in a wider size.

These are my favorite new shoes! I love the versatility of the style. You can wear them with dress slacks or khakis or even jeans. At first I didn't think they were comfortable but within half-an-hour I realize that they were very comfortable. They breathe very well and will be great cool shoes for the summer. I've worn them a few times in the winter and my feet get pretty cold. They are super easy to slip on without having to re-tie the laces everyday.

I bought these for a trip where I knew I'd do a lot of city walking. These shoes were amazingly comfortable right out of the box, no break in needed. Happy feet after 10 hours of walking downtown Chicago. Great shoes with jeans or dress pants. I will buy the lighter colors for summer.

This is a nice looking shoe that isnt your standard oxford cap toe or the likes. Shoes seem relatively comfortable albeit I am pretty sure they run 0.25-0.5 sizes too big. They might even run a little wide too. Also, to no fault of the shoe itself I'm a little worried about the white sole. Not sure how dirty it is going to get and how easy it will be to clean. If it is hard to clean this could be quite a dirty looking shoe quickly.

Love the shoe. No 'buts'. Shoe looks and functions exactly as Dockers advertises. I liked it so much I purchased the navy version. I get compliments on the shoe in my office casual and weekends all the time. I was in a boutique clothing store and the sales manager noticed the shoe. And wrote it down. The shoe is not a walking shoe but holds up well to walking. Comfortable. Reliable. You can buy this product with confidence in what you're getting. Really well done Dockers!

These are effectively elastic shoes. Right out of the box they were uncomfortably tight on my feet but they loosened up after the first week of wear. They breathe great and have a firm sole that is soft enough but not what I would call cushioned.The laces on these are cosmetic. They are slip on shoes. Unlacing does nothing. You can't tighten or loosen the fit with the laces.I like the look and the fit after they break in. After wearing these for a month or so, I'm buying a second pair. Since I wear them every work day, all day, I bought a second pair to swap out every other day.I would prefer a design that allowed some fit customization but these are the best value and most stylish fabric dress shoe I've found in years.

the fabric body feels quality like those nike shoes.the sole is a bit foamy and wouldn't be that great for anything requiring heavy duty soles.very light, would be excellent for backpacking style of travel.the top of the heal dug into my tendon a little so i had to cut it down to prevent the bleeding.but now its fraying there. otherwise good.
