Great leather. I bought the wrong size so I’m sending it back and getting the right size. I did not check for durability because I didn’t use it but I did notice that it’s not as soft as the deerskin I’m used to but that could be because it’s thicker for more durability. It’s still a really good product and worth the money and softer than most leather cord out there.

I use this for pendants and it works great. It does s great but out eventually as you would expect. Though I wear mine 24/7 and shower with it on. Doesn’t leave smells or residue. The color was also very accurate.

Back in the 1900's they used leather lace like this to wrap wooden grips for the handlebars....well I just rewrapped my 95 yr old wooden grips and they came out perfect!!!

This product is for appearances ONLY; the leather strand is so thin that unless any wrapping or use is done DELICATELY, without being pulled taunt, any tightness of wrapping which would be expected for durability, i.e. handle wrap or leashes, the strand will easily break. The seller-provided pictures do NOT lend to what a small package this is, and as a result, a limited supply regardless of the text of fifty feet 50'. (see attached photo with coin for comparison) Not to fully suggest avarice or deception on the part of the seller, only that one understand the limited use this leather strand has.

I am using this for a crafting project and it works just fine.
