Items in box disheveled but Chipper works great so far
Update Jan 2026 - Well this little chipper is still going strong- the reason I am adding to this is— On the positive- Had it well over a year now - Been using it for almost 3 days straight the last few days - not to mention I beat it death this summer- filled over 6 wheel barrels full of chips. All branches under 1 “ - I save anything over that for fire wood - so that’s why it’s a good fit for me. And as far as wood chippers go it was a good price- The downside However in hindsight I wish I had gotten a bigger one - Also if the wood is green it has a tendency to clog the chute - but if you let the branches dry up a bit it’s works better. ———————- I do not write reviews unless something is great or bad - Well this is both - Only used it once but it was easy to set up and works as listede - however I have mostly small branches - anything 2” or up gets cut up for fire wood we have a small wood burning stove. The bad was the items in the box were all all thrown around- but nothing damaged or scratched? It was either handled poorly at some point - or partially unpacked and thrown back in ??? I gave it a 5 cause this little chipper is good for me.

Handy for yardwork
The machine is as described. It works fairly well happy with the 3 inch inlet. The discharge outlet is tapered in and of experienced clogging when trying to shred small sticks and twigs it’s very good for use around your property way better than the electric shredders that seem to have a maximum of 15 amps. Price is fairly decent would recommend.

Excellent Customer Service ! Awesome Chipper for home brush maintenance. - 2 year update (blade)
This chipper eats wood! Very capable 7hp motor starts on the 1st pull. While very portable, it's a workhorse. It takes about 20 min to assemble, very well packaged with excellent instructions plus a spark plug tool. Recently my motor had an issue but Fabian from GreatCircle came through and got me taken care of, so their warranty service is first rate. Keep the blades sharp, fuel stabilizer in the gas tank, air filter clean, oil full & changed, spark plug clean and gapped, watch exit chute as you chip (if it's plugged - stop and clear immediately) and you'll be chipping like a pro for years to come. Was really happy to experience these safety features: ** if running and it's tilted, motor will auto-shut off ** if there's no oil in it, motor will auto-shut off Highly recommended for keeping brush managed. *** 21 Jun 2023 update *** I've now had this chipper/shredder for a couple of years and thought this update might be helpful for those considering it or already own one. First, if you're planning on buying on or already have one, maintaining it is essential. It doesn't take much but here's the basics: * Check the oil every time before use - change the oil at least once a year, weather it's run a little or not * Always use fuel stabilizer in the gas tank since it may sit for a while before next use * After prolonged use, sharpen the blades and clean all the crap out * Keep the air filter clean * After chipping sappy trees (Lelandy or similar), may need to take apart and scrape or ouse Goof-off to remove all the residue that builds up inside the drum and chute, otherwise exit chute will get plugged and possible damage flywheel when chipped material does not exit chute. * Read the manual and follow their instructions I'm always impressed that this machine typically starts on the very 1st pull, even after sitting in the garage for 8-9 months. Then it eats through 2-3" rusty fig branches like it's nothing. This is only because the blades are kept sharp, the machine clean, oil & gas fresh. Take care of it and you'll be happy to see yours take care of you. **EZ steps to change or sharpen blades (update): 1) remove small metal face plate - 4ea 10mm nuts 2) remove narrow side plate under shredder chute - 6ea 13mm bolts/nuts (1 bolt is longer than the others) 3) use 3/16 allen head bolt from front where face plate was removed and 13mm wrench from rear to remove 6ea bolts holding blades in place. Keep flat washer, lock washer and nut from getting lost as they will be needed to reinstall in same order. 4) After removing all blade bolts, either put new blades on or sharpen old blades 5) Reinstall blades and both plates in reverse order of the above. *** *** The #1 thing that affect this Chipper Shredder's performance is sharp blades, so it's a good idea to keep a spare set on hand or have a way to sharpen the ones you have before starting a big job. If you have to push the wood into the chipper, then the blades are dull and things go downhill from there. The #2 thing that affects performance is maintenance - make sure you keep good gas (& fuel stabilizer) for fast & easy starting, keep air filter clean (check after each use) and every 6 months check all hardware to make sure it's still tight. All that vibration will cause it to loosen up over time - and don't forget the flywheel bolt. You have to open unit up but I found mine spinning loose after 20 hours of use so applied some lactate and torqued it down. ***** who should NOT buy this Chipper **** If you don't already have various socket sets and know how to use them, this chipper is probably not for you as it requires routine maintenance. If it's not maintained (oil is not changed, blades are not sharpened or replaced, fuel is not stabilized, all bolts/nuts aren't retightened) then it's going to have issues like some have posted with "catastrophic failure" or "doesn't start" or "doesn't cut wood". If you have these tools and use them, this thing works like a champ.

Garbage machine - it has issues. Lots of issues.
Update 6/28/21 THIS COMPANY SELLS CHEAP PRODUCTS AND IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. THEY WANT YOU TO FIX A UNIT THAT HAS NEVER WORKED RIGHT OR TO SPEND $150.00 TO SEND IT BACK. TECH SUPPORT is an oxymoron for this company. They wanted to send me new blades to fix the chipping issue, and totally ignored the motor not running. Now they want a video of the chipper not running so they can send other parts out so I can try to fix it myself. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO HAVE DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS THAT ARE TOO EXPENSIVE TO FIX OR RETURN. UPDATE 6/23/21 After pulling the unit out of the garden shed and oil/gas topped up the unit decided not to throw the chips out of the main body. I had to take it apart and dig out the compacted chips. It looks like a couple of twigs didn't get chipped and it clogged the chute. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AS FAR AS YOU CAN. IT IS SUBOPTIMAL WHEN IT WORKS AND IT WORKS LESS THAN YOU WILL WANT IT TO. The chipper arrived yesterday and I set it up this morning. Several of the bolts were a pain to get tightened as there is virtually no space between them and the patr that they are holding on. Socket set is not workable on several bolts, and the clearance does not allow more than a 1/4 turn with a crescent wrench. No dipstick on the oil cap as indicated in the instructions, so you have to guess at 1 quart. Placement of the oil filler is very poorly thought out as the unit needs to be tipped on its side to get to it. Make sure you add oil before the gasoline! And the filter/full indicator in the mouth of the gas tank prevents putting a nozzle into the tank. It comes out easily enough, but the idea that the gas can cannot go into the tank is pretty stupid. It started up fine and then did nothing with the leaves I put in. They compacted but did not shred. Figured out that the description is wrong, as nothing in the manual indicates that this shreds leaves. THIS IS NOT A SHREDDER. Small sticks are fine, but the first time I tried to put a 1.5" branch into it, the motor died with a horrible sound. I restarted and tried holding it back a bit so that the blades could do their work slowly, but that had the same result. The 3" figure quoted in the description is just as much a lie as the shredder description. THIS WILL NOT CHIP BRANCHES MORE THAN ABOUT 1" IN DIAMETER WITHOUT KILLING THE ENGINE. On the plus side, it is cheap enough that I don't have to feel like I got taken too badly. I could have paid 4 times as much for a really good chipper/shredder that would last for years, but I am not sure how much it will get used after the initial clean up work. This will do the trick for now, and when it breaks down I will buy a REAL chipper/shredded from any company except this one.

Mini but powerful
Smaller size still does big work. All material to be shredded goes in one chute. No deciding which shreds or chips.

OK, not great.
Takes some time and effort to put together. Works decently but the exhaust shoot has a tendency to clog with debris. I had to take it apart to clean it several times. Only used it once but the clogging is an issue and should be considered before purchase. Struggles with branches over 2 inches and feeding it there are strong vibrations on the branches as they are loaded.

Great Value for the Money
Okay first, we all know this is a Chinese made product. That being out of the way let me list some Pros and Cons with it. Pros: I was surprised how well made it is. Fit and finish is very high quality for anyone’s stuff much less China The motor is a well made Honda clone. It cranks on the first pull and runs quieter than expected It went together without and issue. Had all its parts and was easy to assemble It chipped up everything I threw at it for a solid two hours and I could hardly tell it had used any gas. Cranked up fine both cold and hot The wheels are no flat type Cons: Even though it’s small, it’s heavier than I expected it to be Did I say it’s small? You stay bent over constantly to feed small limbs ad debris. I solved this problem by putting it in one of my ATV trailers. This worked really well to transport it around the yard and keep it up at a decent level No oil was supplied with the unit. This wasn’t a problem for me but could be for some so be aware that you will need some Getting to the blades to sharpen or replace will be a little bit of effort Wheels rims are plastic which could be an issue over time A lot of CARB emissions junk on the gas tank and carburetor that will give trouble sooner or later Overall this little unit is a beast. It likes dry and decaying wood the best but it ate everything I could shove in it pretty much without complaint. It did bog with a 3” piece of wood but anything 2.75 and under it handled with no problem. However, it is a machine with a small gas engine on it. Not everyone is familiar with how to operate one properly nor is it an industrial quality machine. It’s not going to be able to handle piles of large green wood that you just cut that day as well as it will dead and dry material. You don’t need to run run the engine wide open to have good success with it either. That’s why it has a throttle on it. I chipped 2.5” stuff and under with the throttle about half open. If you run these engines wide open for hours you’re going to have vibration caused problems with loosening hardware and oil leaks. Regardless you should check all mounting bolts after the first few hours and then every so often after that anyway or things will get lose and come apart on you. Give it proper treatment, don’t put any ethanol in it ever, service it properly and this little machine will run and last just fine. Overall, for the money it is an absolute great value. I am very pleased with it. If you have a yard with a lot of trees like I do this thing will make your life easier I promise. Buy one.

Gets the job done.
Easy assembling. Started up on the first pull. I ran this thing for about five hours breaking to dump the chips and eat a quick lunch. Four full loads of good wook chips. Handles branches up to about 2 inches but, dont over feed it or the motor will bog down and stop. Keep the thick ones to about three feet long and your OK. Does not handle small sticks and twigs well. I had it jam up a couple times when I tried the small stuff. Highly recommend a face shield when using as once in awhile a small piece may shoot out of the feed chute. Don't force the wood it will normally feed itself so be aware when longer pieces start feeding themselves as they can hit you as they move down the chute. Overall, I'm happy so far with the wood chipper. Besides not handling smaller twigs and sticks the only thing I wish was different is that the handles for moving the unit are a little low and I am not a tall person 5'9". Makers moving it a little uncomfortable. Update...one week later. Another successful day. Worked the wood chipper hard for about 3 hours and no issues. Able to fit it into my lawn tractor trailer with room left over.

Works like a beast on several nasty yard cleanups
I used my chipper quite a bit to clean up my daughter's yard. She lost 40 large trees during a severe ice storm. The chipper easily handled lots of branches over a two week period. It has also been handy cleaning up my neighbour's property this past spring. After a few months of intermittent use the machine needed repairs. Erik at GreatCircle was a great help. With the serial number he was able to acquire the precise parts I needed to get the machine running like new again. His response was very prompt and courteous. Thanks for you assistance Erik!

Great clean up tool
Works great. Starts on the first pull every time so far. A 2x4 is handy to keep your hands back if you throw a bunch of leaves and small sticks in
