Good brew basket
Ok, let me start by saying this beats the heck out of tea balls. Those things are the absolute worst for letting loose tea into the cup for you to choke on a small leaf you didn't see there. This does let some tea "silt" into the mug...you can't argue that point, but it isn't horrible at all. The flipside is that unlike mesh, which can be a pain to clean and can easily bend and change shapes, this is sturdy and strong. It will last for longer than I will likely ever need. The stainless steel is incredibly easy to clean. I don't know how I feel about silicone, but frankly you can just ignore the lid - you really don't even need to use it. Overall this is a great option for tea lovers - it sits on the mug nicely and brews great tea. Win, win, win.

Fan”tea”stic!
I love this strainer. It has a coaster that can stay on the top of the strainer while it’s sitting in the cup, so things stay hot. After all the water goes through, the tea leaves and any tea particles stay in the strainer. Put the coaster under the tea basket, and you can walk it over to dump it in the garbage without anything dripping on the floor. This strainer is great.
