This mattress topper is the best I've ever used. My husband and I are immediately so comfortable that we fall asleep easily and rarely move throughout the night. We wake up refreshed and without the usual aches and pains we senior citizens normally contend with. And it is cooler than the less expensive Tempur-Pedic topper. Definitely worth the extra money.

This mattress topper made a big difference in comfort right away. The thickness feels just right and adds a nice layer of support without being too soft or too firm. It helps relieve pressure and made sleeping much more comfortable overall. I was also happy that there was little to no odor when opening it, which is always a concern with foam products. The cooling feel is noticeable and helps keep it from getting too warm during the night. The cover seems easy to remove and clean, which is a nice bonus for washability. It also feels like it offers some basic protection, and the material seems resistant enough to handle normal use. Overall, it feels high quality, supportive, and comfortable. It is a great upgrade if you want better sleep without replacing your whole mattress.

I purchased the 3" medium cooling topper in hopes to extend the life of our (only) 3 year old memory foam mattress which had become too soft and indented. First of all, the topper is definitely a good quality, from the foam to the cover. It quickly decompressed and the cover was easy to zip and put on by myself. It did have an odor but just a faint new upholstery smell that quickly faded. It fit with my regular sheets and no big issues with it moving around, although once on it, it could stand to be a couple inches wider to meet the edge of the mattress. I don't believe it has any cooling properties but it's not overly hot like some toppers can be. It is very plush and cozy initially, but I really needed something firmer. I am a back and side sleeper and this is comfortable on my side but not at all on my back--it's like my butt sinks and I'm sleeping at an incline. Once you are settled in you sink in like a cocoon, so if that sounds good to you, you'll like this topper. It has helped with dispersing the movement from my husband, who thrashes around at night and bothers me, and seems to also be helping with his snoring. So those things alone are helping my sleep quality. Overall, it's not perfect for my needs but it has been an improvement, and since it would be a hassle to return, I will keep it for the foreseeable future.

I've happily used Tempur-Pedic cooling mattresses and toppers for years, but was extremely disappointed and concerned by the quality of this topper - to the point that I question it's safety authenticity. Non-Existent Packaging The topper was "packaged" in nothing more than cling wrap inside an OPEN plastic bag. No packaging bearing the Tempur-Pedic brand was included, calling into question whether this product is legitimate. I've included photos of how this product was packaged when it arrived, minus the Amazon box. Poor Heat ControI Overheated to the point of removing the topper from the bed in the middle first night. Not for the Chemically Sensitive Even after allowing the topper to off-gass for 24 hours, I could not tolerate having it in the bedroom because i was having the most violent, gruesome nightmares. I've never had such horrible dreams before or since those three nights of having the topper in the bedroom. It wasn't until finally moving it to the guest bedroom that the nightmares ceased, never to return. I've never suffered this kind of reaction with any Tempur product, once again making me question whether this is authentic or whether I recieved a used product (hence the lack of packaging) that had been exposed to something.

The most plush mattress topper out there!! I actually discovered this at an Air BnB where I had to ask the owner where it came from and they gave me this information. I ordered one from Amazon and it remains one of the best purchases I've ever made. Period. We've owned it for over 2 years now and it's still as soft as the day we bought it! If you like a firm mattress, this is NOT going to be for you. It's very very soft, and you sink into it for a sleep like you're on a cloud! The cooling cover keeps you comfortable and it's easy to wash and put back on the pad. If you don't want to replace your mattress and want to extend the life of it, this will be your answer. Worth the splurge!!!

Absolutely in love with this topper. I'm not sure why some reviews say the material is like any other foam. It is definitely real tempur pedic foam. I love it. It's definitely soft. With a firm mattress though, it might not make a huge difference in terms of softness. Hope this helps. Update: So after using this topper for about two weeks, I can say I definitely don't toss and turn often anymore. I took the topper off for a few nights to see the difference, and without it I could not fall asleep. I have a plush hybrid mattress. After putting it back on mattress, I fell asleep almost instantly. And before the topper I had really bad back pain, which is now gone thanks to the topper. If you want to know what this topper feels like, imagine your bed hugging you very softly. It's incredibly comforting. And it trully does adapt to your body.

First off, this arrived with a stain and a few small tear holes. Second, I have to agree this does not fully fit a queen mattress. I didn’t think this would be a problem being an inch or two short on each side but after sleeping on it and having it slide around and end up with a 4” gap near the headboard one night I decided this was not working. I also agree with other reviews that this does not sleep cool more than 15 minutes. Unless you plan to continuously move to a new spot throughout the night or sleeping hot is not a concern for you - this topper is not for you. Lastly, it is quite difficult to get into the cover which makes the idea of washing it sound like a dreaded chore. And, yes, the cover did have an unpleasant chemical / plastic smell upon arrival. So for positive points I do have a couple. It is quite comfortable and supportive while still giving in areas it should - it conforms to your body nicely. We also tested the movement absorption against our last topper and were quite impressed. Overall, not really worth the money paid - especially for it to arrive flawed. Likely we will return.

I was constantly tossing and turning at night due to feeling uncomfortable pressure points around my hips and shoulders, and it was killing my sleep quality. I tried getting a new mattress (the Puffy Could) and didn't find it very comfortable. So I decided to return that mattress and give this topper a try on top of my original, very firm mattress, and I am so glad that I did. This topper has literally turned a mattress that I couldn't even sleep on to the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. This thing does an outstanding job at alleviating pressure points. It's like no matter which position I lay on it, my weight feels perfectly distributed with no pressure concentrations anywhere. It almost creates a weightless feeling where you sink in the perfect amount without feeling un-supported. If you want firm this isn't for you. But for me personally, this is the best $460 I've ever spent; I never want to sleep on anything else ever again.

Much heavier than I expected and larger than a Japanese double bed but comfortable. It took me time to adjust to it -- about a month but eventually I did and I cannot imagine going back to my former solid futon.

Wow! What a difference it makes. Feels like I’m sleeping on a cloud every night. Don’t know how I’ve been sleeping without it all my life. So worth it!

Can't say enough about my Tempur Pedic mattress toppers. Bought one and loved it so much, now every bed in our home has one. Even our guests are praising the added comfort these toppers provide. Just make sure you have deep side edges on your fitted sheets.

Is certainly comfortable BUT check your actual measurements before you purchase. The Queen size is smaller than our Australian queen size mattress by 130mm in the width. The impossibilty of repackaging an expanded memory foam topper to return means we will make do, but please check measurements, don't purchase based on size name

I initially trusted the Tempur brand and made a purchase, but the product didn’t fully expand, so I returned it and bought another one. After placing the second order, I noticed that the first one came with the cover packaged, whereas the second one arrived with the cover separated, as shown in the photo. This leads me to believe the first one was likely a returned item. The current order seems new, but I’m concerned whether the topper will fully expand. I’m debating whether I should return it again.
