Best wheel cleaner I’ve tried, and I’ve gone through them all. I have an M340i that makes a ton of brake dust and nothing else has come close to cutting through the dust like this does. Spray it on, let it dwell for a minute (don’t let it dry) and it does most of the work on its own, but agitate it a little and the wheels come out looking new. Because it’s so effective you don’t need to drench the wheel, so the bottle actually lasts a while despite the price. Worth every penny.

I have a Mercedes GLE 450, and these German brakes just throw all kinds of break dust on the wheels. It builds up takes my nice shiny light gray wheels to a dark black. I wasn’t sure that this product was gonna work as well as everybody says it does, didn’t want to be a subject to marketing, but wow! This stuff works amazing. Don’t buy anything else, buy this. Right now.

I have bene using this on Factory Clear Coated painted Silver Porsche 911 wheel for a few years. I like that I know all the brake dust is gone when there is no longer any purple color change. Im very happy with the Sonax line pro products, and this was my first. It's very effective. I apply to color wheels, let it sit a bit, and rinse. I do use a brush for deep inside the wheels and a microfiber cloth and gloves on to clean the inside corners and behind the wheel spokes. The value is good for the first bottle, then I buy the big refill, which brings it to half the cost almost. So buy the bottle sprayer once and then get the refill.

I'm usually skeptical with wheel cleaners as I've damaged a nice set of wheels with a name brand cleaner. The reviews for Sonax were very impressive so I bought a bottle. This stuff is amazing. The wheels on my wife's Audi A4 build up brake dust very quickly as well as the wheels on my Mustang GT. This cleaner does the trick to remove all the dirt without doing any damage. The key to success here is to pay close attention to the directions. Wait 3-5 minutes before scrubbing. I rinse with a power washer but it is not necessary. A strong hose stream will also work.

I am a German car "fanatic!" I have a restored/tuned VW MKIII Jetta 5speed. Dusty mauve. NGP Racing built 2.0. Tectonics everything. Owned it 31 years. Have spent $26,000 restoring it. Love Sonax products! Made in Germany. Of course! This wheel cleaner is amazing! The only problem: It went up $3.00 a bottle! That is crazy! I don't mind something going up a dollar but $3.00 for the same size bottle! Ridiculous! Not going to buy it. And I've used this stuff for a long time.

I thought there was no way this would work and I was wrong. Sprayed on, let sit for a 4 minutes, went over my wheels quickly with a brush and then rinsed off with a garden hose. It cleaned all the inner brake dust, grime, etc from the wheel. Wheels look like new! My wheels are sort of a complicated shape. Areas that I missed with the brush and or hose (hard to reach parts) still had crud but the crud easily wiped off with a rag. Maybe if I had a power washer, I wouldn't experience this minor detail Yes it is expensive but if you want great results - this is what you want. Yes it smells sort of weird, not like it is a terrible smell. Worth it!

i’ve tried a lot of products and was about to get new wheels until I tried this stuff. Works wonders, took off kicked on brake dust. It’s been on the wheel for months without any damage.

I saw this being offered in the gift shop of the Petersen’s and was curious about the brand. (I was unable to purchase as I was traveling home and had limited room in my suitcase, but decided to look into the products once I was home.) My wheels get quite dirty from brakes and regular car wash products don’t always work as well. The instructions are easy to follow and the product works very well. I didn’t have to do too much work to work loose some trickier areas where it needed some help to break the grime up. I would not say the smell is very pleasant but it’s not the worst scent. (It does go away eventually.)
