So far I am getting AMAZING recording time with my GoPro 3 Black Series camera using this battery! I shot a time-lapse sequence lasting for four hours and when finished shooting the battery still had over 50% charge left! This is the answer for those looking to shoot all day using only one battery! You recharge this battery by installing it in the camera and then using the USB cable charger plugged into the GoPro. The charging takes a long time (even using the GoPro-specific quick charger) so I normally recharge mine overnight to be ready for the next day's shooting.A couple things to mention: There have been mentions of the waterproof backs leaking - I recommend FULLY TESTING all waterproof housing equipment in controlled conditions without a camera before using it with a camera underwater. As some have mentioned, you should press the cover closed with your hands to seal it - do not rely on just closing the latching clip to seal the case. Another thing to consider is that in a fully waterproof enclosure (especially when used out of the water) the camera will build up heat. If you do not specifically need the water protection for your particular shoot, consider using the skeleton (or frame) case instead - which will provide better ventilation for the camera.

Have not ran these dead yet at 5-6 hours shoot time 1080p60fpsThis is a must have!!!Does add weight but it's certainly worth it...I do have one quarrel though. After my first purchase I loved it so much I ordered another... Yes it comes with two replacement extended waterproof doors.. 20m and 40mNot sure what these guys did on the second order but my 40m door WAS NOT MADE FOR A GOPRO 3.It didn't even come close to fitting.. So I cussed a bit and tossed the door. Consistency and quality checks would be nice, thanks! Would have been 5 stars besides the second order snafu.

This battery is AWESOME! I mean just freaking AWESOME! If there is one thing I absolutely hated about my gopro its the battery life! I was very skeptical on the reviews for this battery but let me reassure you that this battery is great! I recorded through a 32GB card 4 times before this thing died! in which this thing didn't even die I just ran out of time to keep recording! After recording for over 9 hrs there were some small condensation buildup on the inside of the waterproof housing but nothing to effect the gopro or the battery. I just wanted to put it in the review so people don't freak out when it happens:p I took this thing in the water and had no issue at all with leaking. This is a must have for all gopro owners and you will not be disappointed!!

On my Hero3, I was able to get over 6 hours of recording time at 1080p, 60fps, Protune on and 8 hours at 1080p, 30fps, Protune on. I'm sure it would be longer with Protune off.My big complaints are fit and finish and lack of USB port to charge the battery externally. The batteries didn't fit on my Wasabi external chargers so I had to charge them in the cameras. One of the batteries has to be placed just right to charge.

Just purchased my battery with the covers and there has got to be a better way to charge it then having it attached to the camera. Also the two covers that come with it one fits great and the other one is useless it 's to big for my camera housing it's a tad to large and to wide. But after reading the other reviews I'm looking forward to seeing how long it will last.

So far the battery did great had WiFi on and power on for 8 hours or more the only thing I was not recording the whole time but the camera was on. The other battery from gopro would die after 2-21/2 hours recording the same way so yes great battery they only thing the two covers one did not fit which for me is fine I'm not going to use as a deep sea dive camera

Lasts ALL day! Biggest issue is they only supply a waterproof door with it so if you want sound you are out of luck.

Good amount of charge that will give me great amount of recording time. It's also very nice that Limefuel gives you a back plate that helps if you want to use this in the water also. Only down fall is it will add a bigger bulk to your Gopro. But that's OK with me!
