I bought to slice the bread I am making with the bread maker, trying to get back to basic foods with less ingredients. It cuts the bread really well and you set up the thickness to suit what you want, it is well built and folds easily so as to pack away till the next time you need it. I haven’t used it for cutting meat or fruits yet but I’m sure it will do a great job. It’s also very easy to clean.

Purchased this because I like thin(ish) slices of meat and I can’t get that with my electric knife. I’ve got a few joints of meat to slice up for the Christmas period so thought it would make life easier! It works! Can adjust the thickness easily with the dial. Easy to remove the blade carefully to clean with a brush (it’s very sharp)! Easy to clean everything. Will be buying joints of meat when they’re on offer now rather than buying slices from the deli or supermarket at stupid prices! Good price for this useful piece of equipment.

It's a cheap item that just about does the job. It's mainly made from plastic so there is a bit of flexing when cutting. I've used it to cut ham joints and blocks of cheese which it does a reasonable job at slicing. The biggest problem is with cleaning, little pieces of meat get stuck in the machine and need to be removed with a toothpick or similar implement. It's OK for occasional use.

Good quality and size, sharp enough for what I need it to do although I found if you don't push it down well onto the kitchen surface it may slip. Once I mastered that, it was easy to use.

Works fine. Simple to use. But incredibly messy and a nightmare to clean as a result. Tried it first on home cooked ham. The slices come out of a tiny gap and disintegrate. So small slices and lots of "bits". And those bits get EVERYWHERE!! Will be fine for small pieces of cheese, meat, etc. But have paid less for better and would not recommend. Get what you pay for!!! I have pictures but Amazon won't let me upload them!!!!!!!!

Its bang on for the money,dont rush it or it goes all awry,it is mostly plastic so will distort if you rush it,but it did all our cooked meat for my 70th

Does job no issues

Have used a few times since purchase. It's very good but occasionally the meat gets caught when slicing. Make sure you have a plate one side to catch the meat. Would definitely recommend. Good value.

Good, but difficult to clean

This is absolutely no good for bread. I just shreds it. The blade is too slow even on high speed, not sharp enough. I live in Australia and they send this rubbish with a UK PLUG. Doesn't tell you that in the description. $100 TOTALLY WASTED. I've been using slicers for decades, never had anything so useless. I doubt Amazon will do anything ABOUT IT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT
