Pilot Iroshizuku inks are a joy to use. I use a Pilot Kakuno with Syo-Ro (dew on pine tree), Shin-ryoku (forest green), and Yama-budo (crimson glory vine). They really show off what this line does best: rich color and very smooth, reliable flow. These inks feel buttery and make writing effortless. The colors all feel natural and calming. I'm happy with all 3 color choices: a sophisticated teal, a classic forest green, and a vibrant purple-pink, all with smooth flow and beautiful presence on the page. These are easy to recommend if you enjoy expressive colors that still behave well for everyday use.

The Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-Budo ink is absolutely stunning. The color is a rich purple-red that really stands out on the page without being too bold. It flows smoothly and consistently, making writing feel effortless . I also appreciate the high-quality glass bottle it feels premium and looks great on my desk. A beautiful ink!

I'm a long time user of fountain pens and as many various ink manufacturers; This Pilot set of inks is extraordinary, in flow, color except the cost.In the end one pays double per ml, but it is well worth it.

Beautiful bottle and presentation. Pretty ink and flows well in my Lamy. If you are expecting more purple, move to a different color.

If you are tired of inks that clog, hard start, or skip, Yama-Budo is the answer. The presentation of the bottle is beautiful, but what's inside is pure magic. The Wetness: I can confidently say that out of all the inks I've used in my life, this is the wettest, and quite possibly the wettest ink ever made. The Reliability: It works in every single pen I own. I get zero flow issues, zero hard starts, and no dried out nibs whatsoever. It delivers a rich, lubricated, flawless writing experience each and every single time. The Color: The "Crimson Glory Vine" purple-red is deeply saturated and a total joy to look at. This has easily earned its spot as my permanent number-one ink choice.

Iroshizuku colours are beautiful with a decided Japanese subtlety and the writing quility is outstanding. The only issue if it one is that they are not water resistant.
