These are cheap but work well ,but they do not work on every switch or router

As it is, after one year one of the two transceiver has stopped working. Note: company reached me and provide with a new set of transceiver completely free of charge in 2 days. 5* on response to the issue. However, this type of hardware are for production environment and cannot fail after 1 years, is not acceptable.

After 5 minutes connection run burning hot with only 1 minute of iperf throughput test

Ive been using these 10gig SFP+ modules in Mikrotik CRS 305 & 309 switches and they have worked perfectly fine connecting to each other.

I've read a few people say they worked but auto negotiation didn't. I connected these between my CRS326 and 328, went into SFP and told them to advertise 10G and the link came straight up. Very happy and will buy again when I start pushing 10G to the servers.

This works well with MikroTik routers and switches.

When they work, they work well. I only have 4 so statistically insignificant. YMMV. I bought these to terminate a short multi-mode fiber (OM3) between the upstairs and downstairs 10G Networks of my home. In AZ we get thunderstorms, and a nearby lightning strike once fried a switch with the induced current in a vertically oriented 1GbE cable so since then it has been fiber. My fiber has three OM3 segments: 3m from the downstairs switch to the wall, a keystone pass-through, a 15m OM3 fiber (UV protected) up the side of the house, another keystone pass-through, and a 5m OM3 fiber to my upstairs switch. At both ends the launch (TX) power is -9.7dBm, and the receive power at the far end is -10.5dBm, as measured with a optical power meter. I was happy with just 0.8dB loss given the pass-throughs. Actually, delighted. First pair of these 10GBase-SR SPF+ units would not hold a signal. They would work for 3-5 minutes and then drop signal for 45-60 seconds. Much angst and substitution testing of everything. Then I bought a second pair of 10GBase-SR units and lo! It works, very stable and now 24 hours without a single lost packet (ICMP Ping). Substitution testing of the four I now have shows one was faulty - the fault follows that unit as I move it around. They are cheap (oh, so cheap!) so you get what you pay for and what you get works extremely well when it works. Certainly worth using and I will buy them again as I build-out my fiber to replace worryingly hot 10GBase-T across my home. (I know - unnecessary really, but I do move very large ISOs and video files every day between 10GB capable machines and those seconds do wear on me). Recommended.

Ho avuto qualche dubbio a proposito della compaatibilità con gli switch Tenda ma, visto il modico prezzo, ho deciso di rischiare. Tutto funziona a meraviglia ed ora ho una dorsale in fibra ottica 10G perfettamente funzionante.

Tranceivers optique 10gbps parfaitement reconnu sur du matériel Unifi (USW Pro Max 48 POE et USW Aggregation) et sur des cartes Mellanox ou Intel. Bref, pas de soucis. Par curiosité j’ai voulu comparer les températures et consommations données par les SWITCHS. En faisant des transferts identiques avec la même température, c’est celui qui avait la plus basse consommation et une température contenue (juste au dessus des FS mais bien en dessous des Ubiquiti par exemple). Pour le prix ils sont nickels !

I used this to connect a pair of 2.5G switches that also had 10G ports. This is the first time I'm using fiber optics for my home network and I didn't realize how easy this is to use. Well, I'm glad I didn't do this sooner because the various items were at least twice as expensive just a few years ago.
