Love the function and warmth of these gloves/mittens
I bought these last year and wanted to wait until I posted my review. Starting last year, I have been working outside in colder weather for long hours. These gloves are amazing. I can still get through about 8 hours of work on the lowest heat setting as long as I don’t let the gloves get cold. I love that the forefinger is separate allowing me to grip items easier. The leather is durable and still in great shape after one and a half winters of use. The color on the palm on the glove has faded but the material is still in perfect shape. The battery lasts long, maintaining heat for long hours. The three fingers grouped together have dividers so your fingers are comfortable and not sticking together. The price may seem high but the functionality and length of product life make it well worth it.

Warm, good quality and work with my phone!
I just got these and they are warm! Well made, came in a nice box for summer storage and a handy bag for my ski bag. So far: - I can use my phone with my pointer finger. Looks like there is some unique material on the tip for using phones. (yeah!) - I've charged the batteries. Took 20 min (maybe they came charged?). - I liked that the charger has red/green charge light (I hate when you can't tell if something is charged) - I've worn them a bit and they warm pretty quickly. (3 levels of heat, plus off.) - Quality is quite good. Material is mostly synthetic, but nice, seems like leather in the palm (?) and no loose threads. Note even though these are "crab" hands, there is still a pocket for each finger, with the three smaller fingers then wrapped in the outer cover. It feels totally natural as it took me a minute to realize what was going on. I actually think it might be better than having your fingers touching each other...sweating, etc., AND you get the warmth of the fingers grouped under that "unifying" cover. Cool! Will update when I use them a bit more, but these are doing the trick for me. Warm, well made, charger works well. It seems like a good value... better than the cheap options that seem to have poor quality, and they are less expensive than some of the higher end stuff that is twice the price. Would buy again.... maybe my boys would like these...(one boarder, one skier)

Gloves well worth the money
I bought 6 pairs of these gloves five years ago for myself and as Christmas presents. They are great. They still are in great shape. They were well received at the time and they have held up well. For me, they have made snow blowing my driveway much more comfortable over the years and when doing other tasks outdoors in the winter. My sons and my sons in law have complemented them over the years for playing with their kids and working outside in winter. One of my sons in law indicated that he has used them heavily for working outside but never felt the need to turn on the heat. They definitely are worth the money. They are comfortable, relatively light weight and everyone says that theirs run true to size. I have avoided getting them wet and so I have no opinion as to what would result if you got them wet. Don't forget that they are heated.

A quality glove, even without the heaters
This is my second pair of these lobster claw gloves. I am a ski instructor and am expected to be ready to go, regardless of the weather. If a paying customer shows up and wants their lesson then I am expected to be ready. After years of having numb fingers (from the cold) and getting tired of having my hands turn black from the iron filing hand warmers, I broke down and bought a pair of these. My first pair lasted around three years then one of the gloves stopped working - and I have no idea why. Anyway, I got this second pair and they're pretty much identical to the first. The batteries come with their own charger (first time use I'd highly recommend charging them several times prior to use - just unplug them when the light is green then plug them back in again). The batteries fit into a zippered pocket on the underside of either wrist. I've never experienced an issue with them impacting any movement or feeling like they're in the way. The biggest issue I have found with these gloves is it's very hard to get them unplugged. The battery end wire coupling is male and the glove end is female. Getting them together is not a problem, getting them apart can be a huge problem. They fit very tight and there is very little room to get your finger on each end to pull them apart. I have found that twisting both pieces back and forth to be the best method. You'll definitely NOT want to pull on the wire to get them to separate. I have never tried to separate them in that manner but would surmize the wire won't hold up very long if you do. And that will be the end of your heated glove. Again, even without the electric heat they are a very warm glove. The lobster design means that only your thumb and pointer finger have their own pocket - so most of your fingers are together and that helps preserve your body heat. Also, because you have two fingers free it's much easier to manipulate zippers, or goggles, or anything that requires more than one finger to do. So, good gloves but they do have some design issues that should be addressed to make them better gloves.

Great Customer Service & Great Mittens!
I just purchased these mittens last week and had the opportunity to use them for Cross Country Skiing both days this past weekend. They worked great, they kept my fingers warm right up to the tips and they worked well with the ski pole handles. I have always used hand warmers in my mittens in the past, and it was so nice not having the extra bulk of the hand warmer pads in my mittens ! The only thing I noticed was that on the high setting one of the batteries lasted about 1 hr and 15 mins, whereas the other battery lasted almost 3 hours. The same thing happened both days of skiing. On Sunday afternoon I sent a request through Amazon to contact the seller to make them aware of my issue with the one battery and to request a replacement battery. They responded Sunday night to let me know that they will be sending out a replacement set of batteries and requested my shipping address. I sent them the requested information last night, and about 2 hours later they responded that they are arranging for shipment of the replacement batteries and will provide the tracking no. once available. I am amazed at how fast their customer service responded and I should have my new set of batteries by the end of this week. Thanks Coco for such great customer service in addressing my battery issue! I greatly appreciated it! Update on 2/23 - I received not one, but 2 replacement batteries today (I only had a problem with one of the batteries), 2 days after my initial request for the a replacement battery! I couldn't have asked for any better customer service! Thanks again!

OK but not waterproof. Save your money.
Thermal gloves did decent job taking off the chill buy my hands never got hot. The proprietary battery port3 battery is frustrating when have a long day and want to switch batteries The worst parts is that the do not keeping hands dry when it's wet out. They just soaked up cold water.

Very impressed!
I did not have very high expectations for these Made in China gloves as I had bought some other gloves made in China and was not impressed by the quality. However, I ski under temperatures that can be very low (negative Fahrenheit), and even with the best of Hiestra and silk liners I usually have a couple of fingers frozen after the half hour. This forces me to stop for a few minutes to warm up my hands and I am usually ok for the rest of the day. The heated Hiestra gloves are all well overpriced so I decided to try those. They arrived in a very elegant packaging that incudes gloves, batteries, charger and a pouch to store it all. The gloves are made of a. I e looking leather and seem well made. They were a bit tight the first couple of times I wore them but then became very confortable. Pros: Well finished good quality leather with reinforcement at the right places. Even with the heater off, they offer a good insulation. I wear them with silk liners as I am used to it, but it is not necessary with those. The liners act as a buffer for the heater and you don’t feel the heat as much as without liners. However, after using them for 2 weeks, I never got cold hands. The batteries always last for the full day of ski. I adjust the setting depending on the outside and finger temperature. Often max when holding a T-bar in the blizzard, but keep them on 1 or 2 most of the time. The leather has held up very well so far. The batteries are easy to charge and the charger stops automatically when the battery are charged, as it would be expected. To be improved: There is no wrist strap. This is annoying as you don’t want to lose a glove in an inconvenient place. But there are metal rings that made it easy to attach after marker straps. The wrist part of the gloves with the battery pocket is made of neoprene. It is relatively heavy with the batteries and bulky. It takes some practice ro set the poles strap at the proper location. The wrist cuffs as also a bit short and tight. It takes some practice to set them around the sleeve of my ski jacket and to tighten the Velcro to close them. However, even after some time on the powder, I never had a problem with snow infiltration. The battery pockets close with a waterproof zipper. However, the battery are usually damp after a day of ski. This has so far not been a problem; the coaxial connector is well made and relatively waterproof. Lastly, the gloves are a little more bulky than regular similarly shaped non heated gloves, providing limited dexterity Overall I really like these gloves. I can now ski without having to stop to warm up my hands. They look relatively elegant. I think they are excellent quality for the money and highly recommend them. Update: I have now skied over 50 days with these gloves and I am extremely impressed. They held up beautifully. The leather is of really good quality and looks almost like new (I applied some Hiestra leather care once) and the stitches are in great shape. Basically they are holding up better than my Hiestra have. The heating works flawlessly every single day and I never deleted a battery. Note that when you set the heat to the max setting (3), it reverts to setting 2 after a few minutes. I never had a cold hand over the whole season. Definitely worth every penny. Update: Now over 150 days of ski with these and they are still in perfect shape. I bought a second set of batteries for longer days on more frigid temperatures but the original batteries seem to have maintained their capacity. You can also find higher capacity batteries if you want to extend the heating time without replacing them but I prefer having an extra set in my pockets )only very cold days) and reduce the bulk and weight of the gloves. Update: After about 250 days of ski, one of the gloves got an intermittent connection and the heater stopped working reliably. It seems to be a bad contact or a crack in the PCBA by the switch. The gloves are still in great condition with some wear at the areas where there is a double layer of leather, so they are still very good. I keep them for the warmer days when the heater is not required and I purchased a second pair of the same gloves that were on sale at Amazon, as the newer models are much more expensive and don’t offer anything that could justify the extra cost. I have no interest in controlling the gloves with my phone. Why would I take the gloves off and take my phone out when I have all the controls I need on the gloves themselves?

Off the charts wonderful!
I live in Michigan, and one of the reasons I love this state is because it embraces all four seasons. Yes, we have "weather", but you just dress for it, and enjoy the beauty that is here, all around us, every day. My one limitation with this related to my fingers getting cold easily, and that condition increasing with age. I am 62 years old, generally do exceptionally well in cold conditions, but with the distinct exception of my fingers. I do not have Raynaud's disease or any other such thing, but it is clear that blood flow to my fingers is not what it used to be. This winter I began a search for gloves - not mittens, because I need the finger dexterity - that prevented the freeze and the pain. Long story short, these surpass my wildest expectations! It's not just about "not feeling cold". It is about actual warmth. Last week, after a 4 mile hike through the woods with my dog in a 19 degree temp with the wild chill knocking that down to 6 degrees I decided to go home and get my mountain bike out for a ride. Bottom line: via the tremendous performance of these gloves, my hands not only avoided being cold, they were WARM throughout. So, when I returned home I ordered a pair for my Dad, who does have Raynauds. They've changed his life in the winter, infinitely for the better. I am 100% confident they can do the same for you. Just be sure to "go large" on sizing. In regular gloves, whether for winter or golf, I generally wear a size XL, and my Dad wears a Large. In these I ordered a 2XL for me, and while they worked as reported they are a bit cramped. I therefore ordered 2XL also for my Dad, which are perfect for him. I am going to order a second pair of my own, and they will be 3XL.

Sehr, sehr gute, warmhaltende Handschuhe fürs Radfahren
