It was an awesome read, It was perfect for me
It was an awesome read, It was perfect for me. I am proud of the author. It has been helping me through my dissertation. The main paragraph (I have it in my board at work) for me is "How are you preparing for what you are wishing and hoping for? Things may not be happening according to your timeline, but it is more empowering to start doing things in furtherance of your desires, rather than sitting idly by hoping that they will miraculously happen." Depending on where you are in your journey, you will take from the book what is specific to you at that moment. Every time I want to give up on writing my dissertation, I look at this paragraph and I keep moving. This book will allow me to put it down for a while (after completing it), and be able to pick it back up again, and start from day 1 and learn something new based on my situation at that moment. I loved it, I have shared it, and they all love the book too. I love the fact that the author shared her experience as the book went on, to show people "hey I am human too, I am not just preaching about happiness, but this is also my journey." I cannot wait for Rochelle to release another best seller , I will purchase them all, as they come! Congrats Rochelle, and keep striving for the top, Amaaaaaziiinnngggg Book

Cup half full
I’m not your typical “review person” but I do love to read reviews… I have been following Rochelle for a short while on social media and I came across a speech that she did where her book “One Happy Thought At A Time” was mentioned. Typically I’m usually a happy person but I have been going through a “season” & I thought - let me get this book to possibly aid in my recovery 😀. I’m at day 16 & I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK. The content is simple yet enlightening… There’s nothing new that I have probably never thought of or heard before but the perspective feels fulfilling… As I read day 16 , I thought “wow” I would love to pass this book on to someone else (I won’t actually do that because I would want to revisit the pages constantly😄 but I will tell others to buy it) … This book is a perfect mixture of “appearance vs reality” . Rochelle magnifies the inadequacies that might exist in one’s life and identifies the actuality of what the situation might actually be or CAN BE if we choose to look at the cup half full instead of half empty… Altogether, I feel like this book is giving me my groove back..

waiting for everything to be perfect. Then one day realizing all this waiting isn't ...
Imagine walking through life waiting for something to happen...waiting for the stars to align...waiting for everything to be perfect. Then one day realizing all this waiting isn't smart or sustainable. This book is that jolt (or reminder) that we all need. It reminds you to find joy in your everyday life while offering up real life tools to start being a happier you. It reminds you to be grateful for what is and to live in each moment fully. It's a quick read and it is formatted in a easily digestible way. Grab a copy, I did and I am happier for it! You will NOT be disappointed. I can't wait to see what else this new author has in store for us.

The book was amazing. The daily nuggets keep me motivated and serve as a reminder that I can choose joy, peace, and happiness every single day - even on the days where it is easier to curl up in a ball and wallow in self pity. It serves as a reminder that no matter what comes... BECAUSE God got me, that all things work together for my good... so rather than pour my attention into the difficulty this book has helped me redirect my thoughts to the multitude of reasons that I CAN be grateful. Very well written and very timely. Choose happiness.

Co-creating happiness. In 30 days.
I read this book exactly as the title suggests. Over the space of 30 days, I moved through the Guide, incorporating the techniques or patting myself on the back for those tools that I already used. Yay me! I thoroughly enjoyed the measured approach to something that many people take for granted. The idea that happiness can be practiced and co-created is intriguing. I enjoyed that this was not a 200 pager that would require weeding and wading through to get specific tools and techniques to use when and where the reader needs it. A reader could literally pick up the book and read the tip for that day almost like a daily Primer. I noted the spiritual references and found them very balanced. They were the authors "why" but not her "how". What that meant is that even should a reader have different life experiences or exposures, the tools could still be used to great effect. I really enjoyed the specific examples used of how the author put her happiness tools in place. Not just the concept but exactly how she uses it. This is a short but well considered approach to happiness and I enjoyed every day of it. Nicely done ✅

I follow the author on social media and purchased the book to support her - but I don’t like it and wouldn’t recommend it
If you’re not religious this book isn’t for you-I’m not. I think it should have been a BLOG post and not a whole book. Several grammatical errors and it’s really basic/surface. I follow the author on social media and purchased the book to support her - but I don’t like it and wouldn’t recommend it. This book is quite shallow and you won’t feel much happier after reading it. This book really is a pet project and probably served as an outlet for the author to process and move on from her previous relationship. Did I mention it’s overly religious and gives you no real tools to be happier etc. I actually like the author’s spirit so I won’t give it less than 3 stars but it’s a no for me.
