Advanced ergonomic design
This is the nicest cellphone headset I have owned. The biggest feature is the unique shape. Unlike most brands they are not round or ellipsoid. Instead they are a much more complex shape that fits with the natural shape of the ear. Definitely takes a little practice to master the skill of inserting them. They don't just hook on like traditional designs, but rather must be inserted at a certain angle then twisted slightly. One they're in, they fit perfectly - very comfortable, and don't fall out at all.Comes with three sizes of ear gel. I found the medium one installed by default fit my (medium size) ears perfectly.Sound quality, both talking and listening, is great. Mic (with integrated button) is attached to the left earpiece's cord, separate from the volume control which is attached to the shared cord. When wearing the headset, the mic hangs near my cheek. Friends report they can hear me better than on my previous (HTC & Apple brand) headsets, with less background noise. Manual volume slider is a convenient feature for phones that don't support button-based volume control, and has just about the right level of resistance.Build quality seems similar to Apple brand headset. I expect with my very heavy use it will probably last ~6mo.Includes a small rubber case. Normally I don't care for the cases that come with headsets, but this one is simple & compact enough that I find myself using it all the time.Highly recommended. Would not ever use a round-shaped headset again.UPDATE: After six months of use, I lost my headset on the train. It was still working perfectly - the little rubber case thing does a great job of keeping it from getting damaged in my pocket. No question, best headset I have owned, I already miss it. Just ordered another one. :)

Once You Get Used to Fit ~ Great!
You can't hear the noise, unless they are in your ear. i.e. other people won't hear your music. The buds have little angles to them, and it took me a while to realize that they go in the ear. It doesn't seem right at first, but then it makes sense. I would definitely get them again. The pause, answer phone works great, the volume slider is easy to control. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the clip. It comes right off, and I have looked down to see it on my shirt, with no cord lol.Not much of a complaint, but they are a pretty solid pair of earphones at a reasonable price.

One side went belly-up after four months
These are advertised as being sutiable for use during intense activity. I found out almost right away, that during my workouts on elliptical machines, exercise bikes/treadmills, that sweat would affect the track skipping button - work out long enough to generate a good sweat, the button brushes up gainst my cheek, eventually picks up enough sweat, and begins skipping tracks endlessly, until I give up listening. Oh, it would return to normal function after drying out, but go work out again, and the same thng would happen again. It used to have better sound quality than my old in-the-ear-type earbuds, but my old earbuds played louder. These may be loud engouh playing rock, but if I want to listen to classical on a plane, or to drown out the profane rap often played in the gym, they're not loud enough.Notice I said "used to have" regarding better sound quality - now that the right side has stopped working altogether (after owning 4 months), sound quality has gone to rot, and volume of course has tanked.

Great, but not compatible with iPod Shuffle 4th Gen
Great sport earphones. Seem to resist sweat very well based on a run and bike ride. Also they do not slip in your ear or cause any discomfort - once you select the correct size ear gel (provided with the unit). The only problem I have found is this item does not seem to be compatible with my iPod Shuffle 4th Generation. This is confusing to me because it works with my iPhone 4S perfectly and the technology I would think is very similar between the units as my Apple Earphone buttons work with both unit. Confusing.Other than this the headphones work great and the volume control works on both the Shuffle and iPhone which is really all I need for now. The reason for the three stars is I bought these to go running/biking and I usually listen to my shuffle during these activities so it is a bummer I can't control the unit with the headphones.

Revised review: poor construction
My original review stated that the rubber ear pieces fell off the earbuds too easily but otherwise the sound was good. Since that time, that first headset caught a doorknob while I was walking and, rather than the earbuds flying out of my ears, the soldering broke and the headset tore in half. Because the wiring was too small to re-solder, and believing at the time that, cheap though that construction was, I would try one more set (at a 30% price increase) and try to avoid "doorknob-like" situations again. Second set, the rubber ear pieces seemed to fit better, but despite my efforts to treat the headset carefully, for some reason, the connection at the plug has already broken, so I get sound out of only the left earplug. So to sum up, cheap construction and too many points of connection (plug, volume slider, pause button) make this a risky purchase.
