GAMMA Pickleball Paddles, NeuCore Series, 505 Pro, Hellbender, Compass, Legend, Shard, Textured Graphite, Power Surface, Honeycomb Grip, Made In The USA

I play pickleball several days per week for 3 to 5 hours at a time. I'm about a 3.8 to 4.0 player based on the USA Pickleball rating information.I borrowed one of these paddles from a friend to try before buying and really liked it. I've been playing with it for about 8 or 9 months now and like it way better than my previous paddle.This paddle is a really good balance for speed, power, and a nice size sweet spot.

First let me say, I was not paid to give this review and rarely give reviews on Amazon or any other site. That being said, this is an excellent paddle. Gamma did it right this time. Very similar to the characteristics of the Gamma Compass, the 505 design is soft enough to bring your dinking game to another level but has enough "pop" for those baseline drives. The composition and design are great; the graphics are nice and not too over-bearing. The extended handle allows a two-handed backhand with ease. I normally use an 8 oz. paddle. The 505 weighed in at 7.6 oz. when I received it. I put lead tape at the top and sides of the paddle and added an overgrip. The additions added .3 grams for just the right swing weight. I gave this paddle a "5" and would buy another. Good Job Gamma!!

Overall, I am very happy with this paddle. It is extremely light weight. The shorter handle forces me to grip the handle in the correct place. The square shape of the handle gives me a better grip, especially when the paddle is hit by the ball with a great deal of force (the paddle does not turn in my hand). The extra length of the paddle head makes a difference when reaching for the ball. Serving and returning a ball can be done with very little effort as the paddle is very responsive. The first day I used the paddle I was taken off guard at how, when hitting the ball, it would spin wildly out of control. However, once I got use to the touch needed (less force), I have been pleasantly surprised by the improvement in my game. As a casual player, I find $150 to be a bit pricey, but if you are serious about playing pickleball a lot in the future, it will be worth your investment. I am certainly happy with my purchase.

Went from an Onix Z5 to this paddle, which game me over an inch in reach. Yes narrower, but I am reaching more balls than before. This was important to me as I am 65 and can't jump or move like I used to. Paddle is light and has more zip to it. Was hitting long the first couple of days. I now hit harder and can reach more balls. My game definitely got better and I am more competitive than before.

This is a great all around paddle. It improved control immensely. Great spin potential with a fair amount of power. The ball pops nicely off the paddle and goes where it’s supposed to go. The paddle fits and enhances my skill level which has just gotten to intermediate. Paddle is well made and feels great.

This thing surprised me with how much control it has! I have 3 other paddles, for different situations and this one is still my favorite! $160 is middle of the road paddle but I atill like it!

The ball goes where I want it go with this paddle!

Love this paddle, it has a shorter handle than what I was use to, but it has become a feature I really like. I am a 4.0 player and have tried various Head paddles, Encore paddles, the Kinetic Pro Flight Paddle and then a friend introduced me to this one. I didn't expect to like it, but now it is my favorite. It just handles nicely, I am more of a finesse player and this paddle has more pop than any of the other paddles I have played with. It still gives me lots of control at the no volley zone and it seems to help me with accuracy on my serve and drives as well.

Bought it about 1 month ago, used it about 12 times to date and absolutely love it. It is light, easy to maneuver, gives good balance between maneuverability and power. I had a Wilson surge previously that I also liked very much but control was weak. The handle is not octagon shape as most paddle I suppose, but still very comfortable and I found it easy to get used to it.

Désolant qu'il n'y a pas option grosseur manche.Par contre avec un Over grip c'est très bien. Bon pois et Bonne puissance.
