I have tried many root touch ups before. This one by far looks more natural. It’s easy to apply, lasts and you have the ability to control how much to apply. Will never use another.

Color didn’t match and it was a sticky mess.

I have used this product for over 10 years, and I agree that it is too expensive for the amount in the bottle. I not happy about the price, but still buy it because I can't find another touch up that works even close. I've tried so many brands of touch up, but after trying them I go right back to the ColorMark. I have to give it a 5 for its performance because it stands out from all of the rest. It is the only root touchup that is quick and easy to apply exactly where it is needed, is not messy, land asts until I shampoo. The tiny wand with a little sponge on it is the perfect delivery tool for this product and it makes my resistant gray roots disappear. I first found it in Sally's Beauty Supply but it is no longer there. I can not find it in stores, and I have had to go to their online site to order it. I am very happy to find it here on Amazon Prime.

It all depends on how much grey you have as to how well this works. When I was less than 30% grey it worked great. And, the comb wasn't necessary to cover the hair. Also depends on how much hair you have. I had slightly more hair when I was less grey. But, now, with more grey hair and having lost some volume, this doesn't work. The comb isn't at all effective. I used it as a color guard shield, but after a couple times when moving the comb there was dye build up on the bottom so it got all over my scalp. And, this doesn't look good. So, in my case, L'Oreal Magic Spray works better and half the price. What I miss is that the ColorMark dye doesn't leave hair dull and chalky like the sprays. But, with the spray, even though some gets on the scalp, it's not the same effect as the ColorMark wand (which looks like you have a swipe of solid opaque paint or shoe polish on your head - spray's more subtle and is actually not so bad with thinning hair).

I like Color Mark because it is easy to use to cover the gray hair at my temples and crown between coloring; therefore I don’t have to color as often which I like.

The ash blond was more of a dirty gold. It was advertised for root cover-up, not just gray cover-up. Made hair look wet and crunchy. I prefer the powder to this.

got this yesterday, not as impressed as I wanted to be. The wand doesn't work as well as it should.

It's ok. It adds a bit of colour to my every growing lockdown roots but I would only use sparingly or it looks very fake. I agree that it's very expensive for the amount of product you get.

This doesn't work. Clearly taking advantage of people during these difficult lock down times. This product did not make a jot of difference to my roots. What a total waste of money.

Horrible. Ordered ash blonde and makes my hair pumpkin yellow. Would not recommend.
