Golden West Marketing Miracle Door Mat

Love these rugs especially the 29 inch by 59 inch - I would order 10 more of these if you had them.......

Okay.... so about four months ago we got an English Mastiff. She is currently 6 months old. A little over a month ago we put in radiant heat friendly laminate flooring throughout our home. It has both lighter and darker colors throughout. I was very concerned about our puppy tracking in dirt and mud. I did some research and came across this mat. It got phenomenal reviews so I thought what the heck I'll try it. I was a skeptic. Seemed a little too good to be true. I followed the instructions prior to use (you are supposed to put it inside a pillow case to wash it and dry it). The first time I washed it I air dried it. It washed nicely and I did not have any issues other than it took a long time to air dry!! Then I put it to use.... and I have to say, it works. I put it by our front door on the porch and when our Mastiff goes outside and it's muddy or dirty I can see her paw prints on the steps and leading up to the mat, then she walks on the mat, and again I can see her muddy paw prints. As soon as she walks into the house I see no prints. I would highly recommended giving this mat a try! One word of advice: I did dry it the second time I washed it in the dryer (only because I knew it would be faster than air drying). This time I did not put it in a pillow case and it did discolor the dryer drum somewhat but that can be avoided if you keep it in a pillow case. I would absolutely purchase this again in the future. Bigger sizes would be nice too!!

I originally bought this rug from Costco after seeing how well it works and used it last year in my multiple dog home. I was wanting to get another one and now have 2 of the medium size mats one right after another, so when my 5 large dogs walk in, they walk over both rugs and my floors stay clean! I have recommended this rug to all of my dog people, I'm in rescue as well and even let adopters know. These rugs have saved me and have made my life less stressful, with 20 muddy paws going in the house....it's a God send! The best part as well is they are so easy to clean, put in the washer, pop in the dryer and your good to go. If anyone has dogs in the spring time with the snow melting you know there is mud.....this magic rug works! I cannot say enough great things about this rug!

We try to buy these at the fair every year, but they commonly have only brown or light gray. I recommend them to everyone and my goal is to have a 30X60 for each doorway at home and the cabin; plus strategic 30X40s for wet dogs. This cost dear and is worth every penny. If you are unhappy about four legged wet/dirty paw prints, this is the solution.If you think the knock off, found cheap at Costco, is the same thing, you'll be very disappointed. Our daughter's floor in front of the door has permanent black rubber embedded from those cheap mats; and they leak! When the dogs come in caked in snow, I put them on the mat to melt; the Miracle mat holds the melt, the Costco knock off leaks through to the floor.

I love these mats. Have them in the kitchen and in front of all the outside doors. They are very low pile and profile so they don't get in the way of the door swinging over, carts rolling over, dog tempted to chew, etc. But if the dog does chew, they have a lifetime warranty for free replacement. Can't beat that. They do a good job tracking moisture and dirt. Just following the directions and wash them 2-3 times before first use. Very soft to stand on under the kitchen sink/dishwasher area. And they catch the water that gets splashed from that area so no hand cleaning up spills, food drips, etc. Just throw in the washer on cold/gentle, dry low. No issues with these. Have had 2 of them for 15 years now. Love them.

I bought this because I saw a demo at the WA state fair but they wanted $80 for this rug. Of course as soon as I bought it on Amazon for $59 then it was at Costco for $49. Still the rug does a fairly good job of keeping the tracking down in my house. I have four large dogs and they can pick up an amazing amout of mud on their paws and then track it across my carpet. I bought two of these to place in the doorway and while they don't remove every single bit of dirt, there has been a significant decrease in the amount of dirt tracked in.

I am a boater with 3 dogs. I bought these on the advice of another fellow boater with dogs. We gave them the true test of parking out in a cove for the weekend. This means, dogs, kids, adults tracking dirt and mud up our ramp, onto the front deck and into the house. I can't show you my floors, but I have to tell you that i didn't have to scrub the inside and there were no dog prints up and down my floor. I didn't have to wash their paws everytime they went out to play. they are quite amazing and I just purchased 2 more for my house!

Great product. May seem expensive but the wet dirt and mud that it captures before entering the house is worth it. In the winter and spring I line up two of the long ones to capture the water, dirt and mud from my son’s wheelchair.
