This is perfect for finding the correct code for a fault.

The book arrived quicker than expected. The high quality combed bound A5 book is packed with use full information and references to (BS7671) to assist a qualified Electrician determine the correct fault codes when carrying out a Electrical Installation Condition report. Although I am a Niceic Electrical Contractor I found this book to be an essential part of my kit.

This codebreaker book is what every electrician should have as part of their tool kit. In fact I don't know how any one would be able to carry out an EICR with out this book. Excellent book+ excellent delivery.

This is a great book, it provides the regulation number and the correct code to give to a defect. It’s brilliant

The content if the book is good and is reassuringly consistent with my own interpretation of how the coding should be applied - definitely worth having for sanity checks though.The quality of the paper and printing is better than most books but I think it's massively let down by the rubbish (in my opinion) spiral binding which makes it impossible to easily flick though because all the pages aren't always perfectly aligned, and I've already nearly entirely ripped out a few pages by trying to flick through it quickly. If they came out eighth a properly bound version of this then I'd happily give this current version away and pay again to get it bound properly! Rant over.Good book all the same and should hopefully drive some consistency into inspection results.

Love this book! Makes coding so much easier when doing EICRs. Got to be careful with the book as the pages on the spine are fragile IMO so it stays in a safe place in the van so I don’t wreck it accidentally.Highly recommend this item 👍

Great to clear up and grey issues found on an EICR

Great book helps to correctly code faults on electrical circuits for EICR reports. Avoids ambiguity with the client. Shows hard evidence of the faults.
