I contacted Anpress about a lost screw that secures the battery cover and was pleasantly surprised to get a very quick response offering to send a new screw. Luckily, the screw was found, and I let them know. They've checked with me several times to make sure all is still good. Wow! So nice to see a company concerned about consumer satisfaction!Our grandson had a set of these last year that accidentally got broken (NOT a product quality issue), and he loved them so much, we ordered another set! I'd recommend this product to anyone who wants to bring out that rockin' creativity in a child.

Awesome idea. Son loved them. 3 HUGE PROBLEMS!! First if you want to switch to 2nd tones you have to hold a button. Who holds a button and slams a drumstick at same time?!?! 2nd inevitably children end up sucking on them, saliva got into one stick died in 5days. 3rd!! MOST IMPORTANT!!! What in heavens name caused these people to put the worse damn UNDRUMMABLE song on planet... iit horrific... simplementation beat would of been sufficient...

The only way to get the batteries in was to unscrew the cover with a teeny tiny screwdriver. One worked ok, but I was not able to open the other one and needed to seek help. Finally opened it and it used regular batteries, whew, and not the lithium ones. One on off switch worked good enough, but the other one was difficult to move and in the end it was only one millimeter between on and off and not easily moved (side to side), because it appears the switch was attached to the plastic casing below which was not properly and clearly lined up with the outside cover, hence the switch was a little "off." It was a present and I mailed it out, not having any additional time to return it, etc. But it DID work...

First the sound that comes out barely sounds like a drum sound. Its more of a cheap sound of a drum sound and very loud. Forget doing things like drum rolls for example.Second it doesnt come with a "user manual" just a single printed sheet of paper that is the same above in the description.

Only one drumstick worked, took forever for company to send a replacement as they kept trying to tell me how to work them. Anyway, finally got replacement but they aren't very well made, cheap toy but kinda fun for my 3 year old. Overpriced though for the quality of the item.

One stick worked and one is a hit or miss. Off-On switch on the one stick was definitely not working. The sound is disturbing, not at all the natural sound as a snare drum should sound. Would return, but my grandson won't part with them, he doesn't really care but I do.

I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. It was a last minute gift as the gift I wanted ended up on backorder. The music sounds awful. The sticks were immediately put away.

These are just awful - the sound that comes from them doesn't resemble toms, snare or cymbals at all. It's more like a broken glass sound coming through a blown out crappy speaker. The one melody you can play to is just terrible and sounds like 1980's porn music. The stick response is also terrible if you hit them too fast.
