Purchased for my significant other some time ago, who has short waves. It works well for him and has been durable over several months. The softer bristles are a little too soft, so they don't really get used, but it's nice to have the options. The handle is a little short, also, but not short enough to where it's really obstructive or difficult to grip - just a little awkward for larger hands. The side with thicker/hard bristles has a good thickness to it. It starts off a little tough, but softens over time. I have longer wavy hair and sometimes make use of the side with thicker bristles, also. Overall, this was a good buy for our purposes at a good price.

The double sided brush is awesome. The soft bristles for shaping and the stiff Brussels to remove tears and loose hair are a perfect combination

The brush is amazing, it slicks my hair back with barely any effort and I love it. The only downside is that for whatever reason, on the softer side it always snags and rips on my hair at the end of a brush. I’m not sure if a bristle is messed up or something, but that’s the only thing stopping this brush from being perfection.

Brotha’s Review: PERFECT texture balance for both side. Soft and Ridged. The ridged side is perfect for my facial hair. I keep it close and the ridged side helps prevent ingrown hairs. Pulls the hairs straight. The soft side is a great finish on my facial hair and it’s perfect for my low cute head hair. I would not use the ridged side for my head. Might scratch my head up. It’s really ridged on that side. PERFECT! Great price point as well!

It is a tad bit smaller than my old brush, which I had for 15 years. However, it fits better in the palm of my hand. Nice quality bristles! I also bought the double-sided one with the handle. Love it too!

The brush looks good and feel great on the scalp and does a nice job of brushing the hair. But I’ve had the brush less than one year and the material holding the bristles cracked , see pic. Not good.

Not firm but soft almost unable to brush hair it was said to be good for. Impossible to use for a wave. Perhaps ok for little children. Very lightweight, feels nothing like my other boar bristle brushes. This must be the bargain model. I don't recommend this at all except perhaps as a clothes brush. Not firm.

When I got this brush, I wasn't really thinking much as to the quality of it as I really just needed something for my hair. When it arrived, it BLEW my mind. The hardness of the bristles on both side are just the perfect degree. I love it so much, it has been added to my list of possible gifts for those I gift.

My rescue pup sheds a lot but hates being brushed. I've bought and returned 7 different brushes over the past year, and finally, out of desperation, I decided to try this one. The handle isn't very comfortable to hold, but the stiffer bristles on one side are perfect. Strong enough they actually pull the loose hair out, but soft enough to be gentle on her sensitive skin. I also use the soft bristle side on her stomach and throat and she loves it! It's been such a struggle to brush her, but this is the first brush where, when she sees me take it out, she actually comes TO me rather than run and hide somewhere. Seriously, this brush is awesome. I am so happy I took the chance and ordered it. The only tiny flaw is I don't find the handle very comfortable to hold. If it was a bit rounder, I think it would be better.

This brush is awesome. You really do not need to spend a fortune to get a quality product. The bristles are soft but firm. By firm I mean they're solid and don't come out at all. The wood looks and feels luxurious (if that's possible). I have used this brush on a short beard and kept using it while my beard grew out and it works great on a long beard as well. It's super easy to clean and I have even soaked it in soapy water overnight without damaging the bristles. Grab some beard oil, grab this beard brush, and feel the comfort. It also feels great if you're itchy. I don't recommend combing your beard more than once a day though because you do pull out a lot of hair. This brush also traps dead skin which is an added bonus! The beard oil actually helps the bristles stay moist... they are boar hair after-all. Overall, this is a sweet brush. The price is right and the brand is trustworthy, you can't go wrong! P.S.
