Speaker Break-In Period is real
Speaker Break-In Period is real !!! But let's start from the beginning... I bought the Edifier s351DB and I was very happy at the beginning but soon I realised that there was a problem with subwoofer at lower frequencies (40-70hz) There was some kind of rattling noise coming out at the back of the subwoofer and I couldn't accept that so I sent it back to Amazon. I thought there is some sort of design issue so ordered the Edifier s360DB. I had s351 at home when s360 arrived so compared both systems and I noticed that s360 was very flat no bass I was shocked!!! s351 had much better punch, better bass, the sound was fuller !!! After this I decided to give it a week and see what happens... I was really thinking to send it back as well. I downloaded the app SoundSource and used it's equaliser to modify the sound and yes it helped a bit. Now after a week of using this system I realised that when I was using the EQ the sound was very artificial so I turned it off and noticed that the sound was much better!! After a week I definitely noticed that the speakers have improved with sound quality!!! Anyone who buys this system give it some time and I am telling you guys you will discover the real potential of that system !!!

Excellent sound at a great price
These are being used as my PC speakers on stands behind my desk. They are high quality items, solid, hefty and well made and sound great with a flat response that doesn't need much, if any, compensation except for my hearings losses across various frequencies (I'm 70) and after using the PC's Realteck driver equaliser to compensate for my hearing losses they rarely need any more equaliser adjustment in the various music apps etc on my desktop. The Bluetooth option is especially appreciated playing music from my laptop or phone when my OC isn't on. Cables could have been longer, especially optical (only 1.5m) and analogue.

Wow the clarity is amazing
Really impressed with this stereo. It offers alot more sound quality than you would expect from stereo in this price range. It actually offers a lot more in terms of sound quality, the clarity and bass is excellent. Audiophiles may not agree as it lacks the upgradability higher quality sound systems made up of seperate components. However for what this system offers is extremely decent in my opinion. The speakers have broken in and it sounds even better. You can only control the base and treble adjustments from the speaker and not the remote which is my only complaint. I also added acoustic foam cushions under the two speakers and subwoofer. I found this improved sound quality further by reducing the loss of vibration through the cabinet it sits on. Again all and all while it lacks upgradability I think you will be very pleased with our this system sounds, it's a different level of appreciation you will hear more depth and detail than you will expect.

Edifier S360DB 2.1 Review – A Sound Investment in Every Sense
After months of deliberation, I finally decided to purchase the Edifier S360DB, and it has proven to be an excellent choice. From the moment the package arrived, the sheer weight of the box hinted at the quality within. These speakers are solidly built, with a craftsmanship that exceeds expectations for their price range—rivalling even some more expensive brands. In terms of performance, they deliver an outstanding audio experience. The bass is rich and well-defined, adding depth without overwhelming the mids and highs, which remain clear and vibrant. Every note is articulated with precision, making these speakers a delight for music, movies, and gaming alike. The bass adjustments are effective, though placement of the subwoofer significantly influences the overall sound. The treble dial, while present, offers only subtle variations, which may be a minor consideration for those seeking more fine-tuned control. One aspect that could be improved is the remote control. While functional, its shape makes it somewhat awkward to hold, which may not be ideal for all users. However, the buttons are tactile and responsive, making navigation easy despite the design. Overall, the Edifier S360DB is a well-balanced system that delivers a premium listening experience. Whether you're immersing yourself in a cinematic soundtrack, enjoying your favorite music, or enhancing your gaming setup, these speakers rise to the occasion. With exceptional build quality and a sound profile that strikes the right chord, they are a worthwhile addition to any audio setup.

Spectacular
I got these as I wanted something for the pc for music, games and yt. I was a lil dubious or price and what to expect sounds wise but these are beautiful, solid and articulate, from the most fragile female vocals to booming while watching LOTR's they're mesmorising.

Bass and treble controls aren't much good. No audible change from full plus to full minus on either.
I cannot recommend these speakers (Edifier S360DB with Sub Woofer). Bass and treble switches do not work. Also came with faulty optical cable. Unpacked the speakers – no physical damage to the cabinets or drivers. So, on to testing. Into my audio room to test the inputs. Connect up to a good desktop computer soundcard, select PC input on right speaker, and we have good sound. Select a few U- tube tracks and, I have to say, for a set of cheap speakers these produce very good sound. The bass and treble knobs, however, do not work – no noticable change in sound from full plus to full minus on either. Sound can be controlled by a good computer sound card though, so not a serious problem. Still, why have them if they don’t work. The volume control on the right speaker, however, functions perfectly for both volume and input selection. You can also use the very good remote control for volume and input selection. Select AUX input on right speaker and connect up to (turntable-phonostage-SD360DB) – incredibly good sound ( with a lot of bass ). Put a good pre-amp in the loop and control bass and treble this way and everything is perfect. If you do not have a cupboard full of audio gear, however, the drawbacks in control of bass and treble in these speakers may well irritate you. Bluetooth works perfectly and has good range with my phone. Tested the speakers bass output with a loud U-tube playing of ‘Apocalypse in 9/8’ (luckily I don’t have any close neighbours) and had to stand a good way back. Wow, I’m really impressed - these speakers output some serious volume for their size. Quickly turned down the volume to protect my hearing. Plug everything in and select ‘OPT’ input on the right speaker and attach the supplied optical cable to a TV. No sound from speakers. Replace the flimsy supplied cable with a good quality optical cable and everything works satisfactorily. There was impact damage to the box where the optical cable was packed which may well have damaged the cable. Although the speakers were very well protected the cables were sitting on top of the polystyrene insert and had no protection but the box itself. Note to Edifier - an extra layer of polystyrene should be in place to protect all the attachments inside the inner box. The supplied optical cable was very thin but it does make a good cable tie. All the supplied cables are cheap and flimsy. I would suggest you replace them all with good quality cables. One last thing to say – these are some of the nicest looking speakers I have ever seen. Also, the circular remote control is lovely and functions perfectly. Full marks to Edifier for design. Only thing left is will they last out the warranty period. I will report back here if any problems. Hope all this is helpful to somebody. Update One Year Later Well, I do recommend these speakers now. After running them in they have been absolutely fantastic over the past twelve months. People comment on how beautiful they look as well as how they sound. An excellent choice if you want great speakers with a wireless subwoofer and have a limited budget. FIVE STARS.
