Ekco 6-3/4" Corelle Livingware Bread and Butter Plate Sold in Packs of 6, 6 pack, Winter Frost White

I purchased these as dishes for my cat. I was looking for set of a dishes because we feed her three times a day. Also, I wanted something "appetizer or salad sized" because her portions are not very big. These were perfect. There were six in the box. I use them daily and we run them in the dishwasher quite often. I've had them for a couple of months now and none of them have chipped. They seem much more durable than our actual dishes! I wish they were a little less expensive (since I did buy them as cat dishes) but I think they will last a long time. I would recommend them as great plates for an cocktail party! They do not have a pattern and are pure white -- they would probably make for good little dishes to decorate and give as gifts.

Much nicer than expected! They really are lightweight and nice looking. They still feel high quality even though they are so lightweight. I showed my wife the video they have about the plate being dropped from such a high distance and... threw one of the plates on the ground just to test it. lol, the plate was fine, no scratches or blemishes of any kind. I remembered the Corelle my mother used to have holding up well to abuse, so I decided to replace my old tempered-glass dish set (with many missing pieces) with these. I didn't want heavy dishes because I have arthritis and am not getting any younger. Instead of buying a boxed set of so many place settings, I opted for the six-packs of dinner plates, luncheon plates, and bread-and-butter plates plus the Fun Pack that has the serving bowl and four large 28 oz. bowls. I plan to get colorful mugs and placemats to complement the dishes. The dinner plate is perfect as a microwave cover for the serving bowl, and the bread-and-butter plates are perfect to cover the individual bowls. The plates stack efficiently in my cupboard; using one of those Closet Maid-type shelfs, I can stack all six of the dinner plates and bread-and-butter plates on the top and the luncheon plates (with serving bowl on top) and the four bowls stacked side by side underneath in just one small area of my cupboard. For an apartment with relatively little kitchen cabinet space, this is a real blessing. Some have complained that these plates seem thin, but remember: they are Corelle, and the Vitrelle material they are made of is not your usual stoneware or tempered glass. I actually dropped a plate on the floor the other day from sink height (not something I'd recommend you deliberately do!), and it bounced on the vinyl flooring and did not break. I expect these dishes will hold up very well in daily use (microwave, dishwasher, oven), and they won't off-gas dangerous chemicals in the microwave like plastics will.

It's not inexpensive, but it is totally worth it. We run a homestay, and our dishes get a LOT of use.

I bought these plates to supplement a set I already own. They match perfectly, and are of the same high quality. I love that they are break and chip resistant, can go in the microwave and dishwasher, and can even be used to warm food in the oven. The bread and butter plates are perfect for serving toast or a baked good to go along with my nightly cup of tea.

Package arrived not in an actual Corelle box or with the stickers on the bottom of the plates. I purchased the item as new and these appear to be used. Very disappointed. Thumbs down.

These are great I just wish they made nicer prints. We settled with white because all the other options were 80's looking. I bought some fancy plates about a year ago but my husband seems to break or chip all of them so I figured I'd be more practical this time around. So far no breaks or chips. I ended up ordering the bowls and smaller plates as well.
